  1. External! Perfect? BTW - judging from the tip, you will need a pilot bearing that would fit 74 CJ5 with a 304" engine.
  2. Since you have the AX15, (I guess it is a 4wd model) you need a transfer case. Make sure it is 23 spline input shaft. An earlier tcase that went with the BA10 has 21 splines and won't fit with the AX15. The flywheel you have will work fine. Do you have the bell housing for the trans? Is it internal or external slave cylinder? That will affect hydraulic system you get. Not sure if the trans is set up for internal or external? Look at the front. Surrounding the input shaft is a plate (bearing retainer). Is the sleeve over the input shaft short (~1") or long (~3"). The longer bearing retainer is for the external slave cylinder. Do you have the proper cross member for the trans? and the trans mounting bracket?

    Beer

Honey usually ferments out 100%. The brewer may have introduced the honey at the end of fermentation when the yeast have gone dormant or at canning. That is probably why the honey comes through.
  4. I took these years ago in a 93 XJ. Hope they help. (I have not switched to the hand brake yet.)

    Beer

Gogmorgo, I really like a good IPA. Not the over-the-top west coast or the latest New England/hazy IPA, but a nice English IPA. Sadly, the craft beer industry changes faster than the weather. From the west coasts, to NEIPA, to sours, to the latest fad - fruit - beers. I have seen some small brewers making breakfast cereal beers. No thank you! I like to brew "traditional styles" for my wife and me: stouts, porters, pilsners, bocks, and English IPAs. Call me olde fashion. Thank you, very much.
  9. I got two sets off of XJs in JY. One set black and one chrome.
  10. How old is your battery?
  11. Must be COVID. Everyone else blames COVID for everything.
  12. I will mail payments 3 or 4 days before the schedule due date (when I mail payments). If the due date is a weekend or a Monday, I will mail it a day sooner. I also go on-line to make payments, even recurring payments, and schedule when the payment is to be made. I usually select the day before the due date. That is because vendors may cut off the "receipt time" before they post receipts sent in - see my comment about credit cards above.
  13. The banks post your payment when it is received (or when they get around to it). A delay in posting can/will occur when the payment is sent to a lock box or third party processor. (Credit card processors were sued several years ago for posting payments after the due dates, even though the payments were received at a lock box timely. Payments weren't posted until they were picked up by accounting. The CC companies were making MILLIONS of dollars by charging late fees.) Banks grant a longer late period (by law?) of up to 15 days. So, to answer your question, yes, you will show/report more interest since the payment gets posted after the 1st. That is because the interest is calculated on the number of days since the last payment was posted: 30 vs. 31 days. $Mortgage balance x Int Rate% / (#days/365) By varying the # days, either more or fewer, will alter the interest calculation. If you do not want to pay more interest, then possibly set up automatic payments. You set the day the bank withdraws the $$$. Some lenders give discounts to have automatic payments.
  14. Are those sold in Epcot or Hollywood Studios?
  15. New approach: Moe, Curly, and Larry take their automotive repair business on the road with a "Mobile Garage" service.
  16. That's ingenious! Now he has a place to park, no matter where he goes.
  17. Mine was running lean for a while. I searched all components for possible causes. My searches led me to an intake manifold leak. I changed the gasket and it is no longer stuck in OL. The ST and LT fuel trims have leveled off, also.
  18. If you haven't purchased one yet, get the REM from Nickintime. Many Renix owners have one and love it. I know, I am one of them.
  19. Sounds like the ECU is running in Open Loop (OL) at 800 RPMs. When it switches to Closed Loop (CL) the RPMs drop. If the ECU detect either ultra lean or rich condition, the ECU switches back to OL. The RPMs will level out at 800, again. After several seconds, the ECU will switch back to CL. Just like shampoo instructions: Lather, Rinse, Repeat. You will need to determine why it keeps dropping in/out of CL. I would recommend you download the 88 wiring diagrams and the Renix fuel injection manual. Also, do Cruiser's Tips for the Renix

    COVID Chances

My county has a 38% chance of getting COVID. That means I have 62% chance of not getting COVID. That's approx. 2-to-1 against. I'll go about living my life, thank you. I will wear a mask when I am out.

  24. It is not proper to call people "Auto Mechanics" now. A better term is "Auto Technicians." With the electronics on vehicles today, you have to have good, working knowledge of computer in order to diagnose and fix vehicles. Going to a trade school will give you the knowledge...and you get to use their electronics. Some of the schools may assist you with purchasing the tools of the trade by discount programs from suppliers Many people can pick up a book or manual and read it to obtain knowledge. They will learn from their mistakes along the way. It is better to learn from the mistakes of others.
