  1. I bought a new Fey bumper. Pretty easy to install. Old and new Backside of old New Installed
  2. In CA, you need a Dr.'s prescription. However, in CO, it is now OTC.
  3. Please forgive me if I repeat steps you have performed, but... Did you check the smaller fuses in the block: Turn/BU 20 amp, and the Haz/Stop 15 amp? Your picture shows a 20 amp in the Haz/Stop. If your highbeams stay on, then I will go back and check the turn signal switch in the steering column. It may be defective. All of the issues you mentioned run through that switch. I have found this electrical trouble shooting manual very helpful. http://comancheclub.com/topic/12083-electrical-manual/
  4. What issues caused the failure?
  5. I lost my brake lights previously. My hazard and turn signals worked, however. I replaced the turn/hazard switch harness and all was well. It runs down the steering column.
  6. Do you have 3" lifts in stock currently? I was planning on giving the MJ a lift next year.
  7. So, it sounds like it is just seasonal, not permanent.
  8. Have they stopped all the MJ suspensions or just the 4.5"? I was concidering 3" lifts.
  9. What's behind door #1. The headlight switch is the relay. The clock has two power feeds. When you turn on the lights, the over ride source kicks in. This override dimmed the illumination light on the clock and radio. Since the clock goes dark when you turn on the lights, I would replace that switch.
  10. Year 1990 1-US (Country) J-Jeep USA (Manufacturer) 7-Truck (Type) F-4001-5000 GVW (GVRW) J-Cherokee or Comanche 4WD (Line) 6-Eliminator (Series) 6-Truck (Body) L-4.0 I-6 (Engine Type) 0-check digit L-1990 (Model Yr) L-Toledo #1 (Assembly Plant) Last six-serial #
  11. Yes. Are you skinny? You'll need to be to get under there. Been there; done that; have the greasy t-shirt. The second time I raised the truck, let the front wheels hang down. Much easier!
  12. If it just started with this tank of gas, have you considered water/cheap gas? Put in some gas addative and run out that tank.
  13. Dejavu. Does the cigar lighter work? I just had the same issue. What Cruiser54 said. Replace the headlight switch relay. The dash lights, radio, clock and lighter all run through the relay.
  14. My vote: U-joints. Just my $0.02 (that's US, not CA) ;)
  15. 4x4. I live in Maryland - The Peoples Republic of...
  16. Unfortunately, it is on a 90 xj. So the slave is internal.
  17. Would the bell housing of a BA10 fit an AX15? or will I have to get the BH for the AX15?
  18. You may have seen this picture of the Cherokee trying to cross the boarder from Mexico. http://news.msn.com/us/smugglers-try-driving-over-us-border-fence-get-stuck
  19. I am not able to PM you. What am I doing wrong?!?!
  20. Are the tans still available? Can you send them east to MD - 21774?
  21. Are fuse blocks compatable across years? Mine is an '87. Will later years be the same?
  22. Try one inch of black electrical tape. Cover over the offending light. Problem solved. :laughin:
  23. Does the whole MJ shake up and down? or does it shake like the engine is missing? If the whole MJ shakes, I would recommend looking at the U-joints. I had and '89 XJ that did that. During exceleration the XJ would shake violently. I would pull over and stop, (let my heart rate get back to normal), then drive on. It wouldn't happen again for awhile. Just my $0.02.
  24. I want the pedestal, though. Mine are rusting at the bolts.
