  1. A while back on here someone posted link to the Chrysler web site in order for the public to give them suggestions. I of course suggested a throw back styled Comanche with solid axles. I got a somewhat generic reply saying they would be in touch in the future for further suggestions. What I want to know is did anyone else get a reply? If so what was it?
  2. Thanks Pete I'll give'er a try. Yeah calipers are cheap, but when you stack rotors and pads on top of it the cost goes up a bit. I didn't know my caliper was seized until I drove the truck to the Mounds. Drove in the front gate and into the first play area. Drove into a big puddle of water and saw steam rise from the driver's side. Result= 1 badly warped rotor. And I always like to do brakes and junk like that in pairs.
  3. Any ideas on how to bust a froze caliper loose. It's on the driver's side. Just want to break it loose so I can drive around the yard a bit until I can afford to replace it.
  4. Have you looked at the Rock Ratz bumper? here: http://www.rockratz.com/comanchebumpers.html Not too bad looking in my opinion.
  5. Killing them isn't cool. Thats all I wanted to say. Try a web search. You might find a kind way to get rid of them.
  6. My truck sat the same way as yours when I installed my skyjacker lift. It leveled out a bit but is still a tad higher in the front. And don't worry the kit gets nice and flexy after a little while.
  7. I went to the Jefferson fall swap meet once and it was the best.
  8. 3" Skyjacker lift with 31"s. (Not the best pic)
  9. I am looking for a 4 core radiator to fit an 86 that originally had the 2.8. I was wondering if anyone had purchased one and knew where I could get one. Or I have a radiator shop around the corner from me that re-cores radiators and was wondering if it is possible to take the radiator I have and just have it re-cored as a 4 core. My radiator has metal tanks. Any input is greatly appreciated.
  10. I would like to get in on this if it is possible. If you are willing PM me and I will send you a pic of my jeep.
  11. I don't run those. But I do swear by my good ole BAJA CLAWS. So much better than the BFG all terrains I was running before.
  12. Not very likely but the premium fuel could be messing with it also. Older computers are kinda funny that way. :dunno:
  13. Where are you located? You can borrow my truck. :brows:
  14. I wheel my long bed and love it. It is down for the count with a siezed caliper right now. The back bumper does drag sometimes though.
  15. So we have 3 V8 Manches on here now? COOL.
  16. That was a long bed by the looks of it. I think it has just been bobbed. Just my 2cents.
  17. The F-body hatch looks pretty good grafted on there if I do say so myself. 8)
  18. I was looking at the one with the brushed metal looking center. Maybe with the stimulus check I can pick one up. The worst I would have to do is re-sell it. :dunno:
  19. I have been seeing the new Wranglers driving around and I saw one with the Fog light option. So it crosses my mind "that bumper would look great on an MJ". So my question is for those of you that have brand new shiny Jeep Wranglers. Do you think one of thos bumpers would fit without too much work? And could I possibly get some pics of how the bumper mounts. I would go to a Jeep dealer but the nearest one is 30 minuets away. I don't want to drive that far just to look at a bumper on a vehicle that I cannot buy.

    Pinks

The racing team I used to work for was on that show. I worked for Hardcore Racing Inc. The show is definitely not rigged because we came home from Arizona with AMP performance's Mustang. We were getting our asses handed to us and the final run the Mustang split the 351 Windsor straight down the seam in the middle of the block. AMP Performance were such sore losers that they actually keyed stuff like F***K YOU and other various obcenities in the paint on the side of the car. They bugged us for about half a year to get their car back. So we sold it back to them for something like $9,000. I have a copy of the show on DVD. We were all given copies from the producer.
  21. Thanks guys. Looks like I am gonna get rid of it. If you didn't see the rear radiator thread I am gonna run my heater hoses to a heater core mounted in the front so no coolant will be flowing through the cab heater core until winter.

    shooting

My friends father actuall has the red ryder bb gun "You'll shoot your eye out" (That shoulda been in the movie quotes.) I actually got a red ryder bb gun for christmas. I wear glasses or I probably would have shot my eye out.
  23. I don't have a picture right now but does anyone have a little check valve looking thing on the inlet heater hose? If so do you know what it is for? It was leaking and I am gonna do something with my heater hoses other than run them to the heater core. So should I keep it so I can get another or can I just eliminate it completely? My truck was originally a 2.8 2wd. It is now a 5.7 2wd. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  24. So here is my plan of action. I am going to disconnect the hoses going to my heater core and plug off the in and out on the heater core so no debris gets in. Buy a sizeable heater core and mount it as you would a tranny cooler and run my heater hoses to it. Much cheaper and more simple than a rear mounted radiator. BTW does anyone know what the little valve doohicky in the heater hose on the inlet is? Is it a check valve of some sort?
  25. Some guy here in Flint has what seems to be a Corvair graveyard. For as long as I can remember He has had this commercial property with no less than 30 corvairs in every shape and style they made. He won't sell any they just sit there and rust away.
