I just figured it could be shipped because I have ordered a couple bottles of absinthe from the Czech Republic. Seems like a good reason as any to make a trip to Canada.

I have a little five gallon tank with 2 pink fatheads 1 black fathead 2 aquatic frogs 1 albino and 1 black. A large snail and a green corey cat. We originally bought the fatheads to feed to my girlfriend's water dragon. They kinda freaked him out so we took them out of there and bought them their own space. My girl wanted to just flush them but I have a problem with killing anything. I even put spiders outside when I find them some place other than the basement.

I had no idea. I wouldn't mind trying a vodka based Mike's. I wonder if it can be shipped to the :USAflag: from somebody in :Canadaflag: ? Nothing huge just a 12 pack or something. :hmm:

Mikes Hard Lemonade actually says "Flavored Beer" on the label. And Smirnoff Ice has "Clear Malt Beverage" which is a type of beer. So if you like it or not you were drinking fruity beer. I have got into this discussion many times because I have a frien who drinks Smirnoff Ice because he says he does not like beer. I do a little bit of home brewing in my spare time so I have picked up a few useless facts like that.

:beerhead: Jeff I am glad I ain't the only one that has heard of these guys. The music is too good to keep to yourself. I saw them live at the House of Blues in Cleveland. Great Show.

Remote reservoir power steering pump. I have mine mounted beside the rad to help keep it up and out of the water. You can generally find these on mid-eighties full size vans. Don't know how hard it would be to fab one on a 4.0 as I run a chevy 5.7 -
What is even worse is to call that an American car. It's more like a MexiChinAmerican car. The all new Malibu. Should have called it the re-packaged Saturn Aura. Good Ole General Motors. Or is that a Cavalier? I can't tell anymore. Maybe they should make a model called the Amorphous blob CXT or something.

Sorry to jack the thread. Where can I buy new hub covers? I don't have them and neither do any of the ten XJs at the junkyard. My rig is 2wd if it makes a difference. Just the dust caps are all I am asking about. :chillin:

We used it in the race car. Weird stuff, kinda looks like alien blood or something.

This car is insane. 1.7million$ to own one of 300. Nobody but one company will insure them. And the company that will insure it will only carry 11 and it runs about $12,000 dollars a year. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x157l2 ... speed_auto

May not be tech but... Does anyone know how much bucket seats weigh? There are a few sets here and I am trying to get a quote together to ship a set to a fellow club member in Ohio.

Thanks for all the help guys. The cold ones are on me if we ever meet up.

/Wheel hop? (Figured it out 9/1)
possum replied to vzehler's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Pete is somewhat on the trail I am. Have you opened the front diff? It could have a locker OR someone could have welded everything together in there and made a "Lincoln Locker". My reasoning for this is I have a spool in the rear of my truck and it does what you are describing because the two axles can no longer differentiate in speed thus causing one wheel hop or squeal. You should hear me make a tight turn on blacktop. -
So the bolt holes are under the ring that the horn button attaches to? Just want to be crystal clear on how this goes. And I am just swapping wheels nothing more.
-
Could anyone please tell me how to remove the steering wheel from my 86'. I got a wheel puller but don't see the two holes for the bolts to thread into. Does the horn ring have to come off first? Thanks.

You could always stop worrying about where to put them and send them to me. :D

Big muffler+stupid stickers+stock celica= Dumb kid who can't drive or was just starting to drive trying to show off for his car full of friends. The dirt shoved in the passenger side wheel kinda says it went sliding off the road at some point. :dunno:

Made this out of a Liberty tire carrier and some super strut.

2 door XJ seats will work... finding a nice set is the problem... I have only found 1 set out of about 30 junkyards... They ones i did find were annihilated... Got a sweet set of grey buckets in a two door XJ at the yard in Flint. No rips no stains. Pretty. The XJ is in good shape too. Just no front clip for me to steal the headlight bezels from. Anyway I ain't too far from Ohio if you wanted to drive a little bit for them. If you are interested I could see if they are still there and how much. This yard is real good on prices I got my factory front skid for about 15 dollars.

And a lower temp thermostat can mess with your computer and will sometimes make your vehicle run like crap. I learned on LS1's that you have to use a hand held programmer to set the ECU for the thermostat. I am not one hundred percent sure this applies to Comanches but I figured I would throw it out there.

front ball joint instal instructions
possum replied to jeep_freek88's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Yup, the racing shop I used to work at sleeved our blocks in this manner. We put the blocks in an oven for a few hours set on 450 and put the sleeves in coolers packed with dry ice then they slide right in. -
I got a nice suprize when installing my refurbished calipers the other day. They both had AMC stamped on them where as I expected to see the pentastar. My rig is an 86' so that means I actually got period correct calipers. I think...

The right sides are ripped off. All thats there is the Left side Comanche and X badge... Shucks I still would like the badge that is there and maybe the "X" badge.
