    Have you ever....

I did that to my window also. Luckily I just broke a small chip out of the top and the window stayed intact and is still intact.
  2. It is practical when combined with a snorkel to keep water out of your motor if it happens to stall when crossing deep water.
  3. Mytruck was one of the trucks used to fab the JCR rear bumper. Although I have not been offroad with it yet I would have to say it looks like a very well built piece. And rustoleum makes a hammered finish rattle can that is quite tough, looks good and is much cheaper than powder coating. I would say go with the JCR bumper. :chillin:
  4. But what did they do before CNC machines. :hmm:
  5. I thought it looked like it was about 1" away from being really really funny.
  6. I have a few ideas but I would like to ask some of you guys that may have experience doing this. What is the best way to remove the broken bolts going into the frame at the rear bumper mounts? I was figuring on drilling out the bolts and trying to get a nut into the frame for the new bolts to go through. Ideas, suggestions please.....
  7. If you decide to remove the roll bar I would be interested. I am not that far away.
  8. Sorry I am slacking on the pictures. I will post them tomorrow because I forgot my camera at home. But I am very happy with the way my truck turned out. The rear bumper and the sliders look pretty beefy.

  10. I will post pics on Monday or Tuesday. I haven't seen it since I dropped it off so I am very excited.
  11. Sunday I get to pick up my MJ. It has been at JCR Offroad for about a month getting rock sliders and I believe a rear bumper put on it. It is LWB so I can't wait to see what the sliders look like. :chillin:
  12. I was thinking of putting a Yamaha Rhino roof rack on top of my cab. They look about the right size.
  13. I actually used a couple different hoses for the bottom. I took two bends and connected them with a piece of steel tube and hose clamps to get the angle I needed. The top one if I remember correctly was the stock one from the van that the motor came out of. That is all I can remember at this time.
  14. Yeah our Trans Am at the shop I used to work at used an icewater intercooler. It does make a big difference but it usually is used with some kind of forced air induction. I believe forced induction is against the rules of what he is shooting for.
  15. Mine keeps pretty cool with the stock 2.8 rad and a 17 inch Spal fan. I do have to park and cool down every now and then when the temp outside gets above 90deg. I think LeBaron Hood vents will help alot with that though.
  16. Mistakes can happen. I don't think he meant to damage his truck or ruin everything for everyone else. Sounds like he just made a mistake so why beat him over the head for it. I think having his truck effed up is punishment enough for his sins.

    Gamers?

All the Guitar Hero games including World Tour and Rock Band Oh yeah I still rock Metroid on my NES. :chillin:
  18. I think it stands for Walt Disney World. :hmm:
  19. Yup my long bed is at JCR right now. I am patiently awaiting it's return to see what the sliders look like.
  20. Had it when I worked for Hardcore Racing INC. Got to be around sweet cars all day and never paid retail for any of the parts I bought. But too much money was spent and the business folded. We did have the world's fastest LS1 powered vehicle for a bit there. It ran 7.96 @ 194MPH. Oh yeah it was a 2002 Trans Am. Here is a link. http://www.gmhightechperformance.com/fe ... index.html
  21. I love IPA's I can sew real good. I don't like cats tearing up my trash I play the hell out of Guitar Hero and Rock Band I like playing in the mud.
  22. funny. I run away from carbs for the same reason... Same, I hate carbs, finicky bastards, never really run quite right, always stink, never run right after you have a few thousand feet of elevation change(most of our trails in colorado have that much change). simple fuel injection is nice and easy to setup and run. I've seen alot of people run away from the electronic injection system of the KJ CRD. Seems wiring is something that people have a hard time figuring out. Some quadra jet carbs adjust to elevation and angles automatically. The hunk I have on the top of my motor is just such a piece. I got it from a guy who used to backdoor parts at GM's SPO so I am not sure if it is a production part or not but I like it.
  23. Well that is the new thing I have learned so far today. I guess they are V-6 cars. :dunce:
  24. I thought the Deloreans were 4 cylinder cars. :dunno:
  25. I kinda hotrodded mine with a stock 1984 350ci. It perked her up a bit when I tore the 2.8 otta there. But I blast through the mud and not the quarter.
