  1. I don't know what they are. They only have one vaccum line hooked to the carb. I thought they were vaccum storage canisters. I just kept it hooked up when I put the new carb on.
  2. That helps alot thanks for the info.
  3. What smog stuff? I don't even have a cat. :hmm:
  4. What ohm do the sending units operate at on our trucks. I need to buy a sending unit for my fuel cell. My truck is a 1986 LWB with the 2.8v6. Thank you.
  5. V8 Power :chillin:
  6. Yes they will fit. I had zero problems with rubbing with stock suspension until I wheeled it with 31's at stock height. But just driving around town they should be fine. My truck is 2wd.
  7. Nope 2wd w/ mopar 8 3/4 rear with a spool.
  8. Believe it or not I am still using the stock 2.8 rad. It gets a little warm on hot days when I am not moving. Otherwise it runs right around 200 - 220 which is normal with a chevy v8. They make restrictor plates to go in place of your thermostat with different size holes. You might want to try one of those. They are cheap and it might be an easy fix. With no thermostat or restrictor your coolant will flow too fast and the rad cannot do it's job correctly.
  9. They are stock from the van I pulled the motor from. It was a 1984 Chevy G20 cargo van.
  10. Oh yeah she is still running strong. Gonna put in a new trans as the current one is getting kinda slushy.
  11. Any tire shop should be able to get you center caps and they are not too expensive. Just tell them you want center caps for a set of "Unique D-Windows" I believe that is the name of the wheels on your truck. They look just like mine.
  12. Even though you changed your mind FYI the Skyjacker kit does come with a track bar relocation bracket.
  13. I run the Skyjacker 3" kit and I don't really have any complaints. The AAL aren't too stiff and they have not sagged in the three years I have been using them.
  14. My board name= "Nappy Hole" Real name= "Heywood Djeblomi" :shake:
  15. Paint it white and put the 360 2bbl back in and you have my first jeep. Man I miss that thing.
  16. Ground clearance and a rear locker will do more for ya on the trail than you might think. :D I agree 100%. :brows:
  17. My Skyjacker AAL is stil holding good after 3 years. And I used my truck to move twice. With the original packs. Just got lucky I guess.
  18. So the flat stock is a sufficient brace for side pulls? That just made things a bunch easier. Thanks guys.
  19. I think I have an idea. Mjeff are those angle brackets above the towbar homemade or did you get them somewhere? My towhooks are attached with the two big bumper bolts so the tow bar wouldn't help me.
  20. I was just wondering how some of you guys braced in between the frame rails out front for side pulls. Pics would be greatly appreciated.
  21. What I think is funny is younger people think the oil filters with the replaceable filters are new "green" tech to save money and resources. But it is actually old technology that was offered on autos as early as 1950. Certain 396 Impalas had them I know this because Kid Rock's '65 Impala that we worked on at my old job had one. I asked if it was a mod because my Cobalt had that type of setup. My buddy said no, it is factory. Just in case you wanted to know.
  22. I want one. :wavey:
  23. Looks and sounds like a flowmaster to me.
  24. Did fishtails and donuts in the snow up and down the road. Parked her back in the garage.
