My issues aren't as bad since I installed louvers on my hood. But I have been thinking a V8 Maverick radiator or a mid nineties Mercury Mountaineer V8 radiator. Might take some work but what's a little more work? :dunno:
Did you buy that from the Flint or Burton area. I stopped and looked at one like that. It was on a trailer for sale in someone's front yard off of Lippincott Rd.
Well I saw it again. And I have seen the crew cab version driving around this weekend. They both say "test vehicle" on them. I talked with one of the guys driving them and he says they fit tall people very well. He was about two inches taller than me and I am 6'2". I guess they average about 28mpg in town.
Yep I saw one of those weird little Mahindra trucks on the way to work this afternoon. Looks way better in person than the pics on the net. They look like they could have potential.
I am pretty sure I have seen that truck out at the Mounds ORV park about 2 years back. If it wasn't that one it has an identical twin. I didn't have any CC cards with me that day either.
Always torque lug nuts by hand after installing them with an air gun. Even places like Discount use a torque wrench after tightening lug nuts with an air gun.
I am looking for street tires. But I wouldn't mind a nice set of BFG all terrains. And Jefferson is a little farther than I want to drive but I apreciate the offer.
Looking for a complete matched set of tires and wheels for my 87 2wd SWB. I would prefer to not have to travel across the country for a set. Tires must be in excellent condition.
I run the Mobil 1 10W30 High Mileage and have been for about 2000 miles. It actually quieted some of the "normal" valvetrain noise you get from an older inline motor.
The transmissions on those like to catch on fire. I have watched 3 burn to the ground on the side of the road. They were all owned by people I knew. One only had 60,000 miles on it. Just keep an eye out. :smart:
I would like to be part of the tour. Could you please PM me the date when you get it all arranged. I would be cool to meet some of you guys finally.
Chickens are cool. My grandfather has about 8 Bennies right now. Four of them he rescued from freezing to death. The four he rescued got frostbite in their feet so they fell off. But they scratch and lay and seem just as happy as the others.
