  1. How do you do it? Do you have to remove the fender? I tried to remove the metal cap thingy on the top of it but that does not help. :huh???:
  2. Our brand new Charger cop cars are black and white.
  3. So, like ... how can I do hands-free texting, man? Sheesh! :rotfl2:
  4. We got Mellow Yellow here and I personally think it is better than Mountain Dew. What is your zip? If you are not in a hurry I can send you a case or two somewhere down the line. (All my money is going to fix the Manche' right now) :chillin:
  5. Alright what size line wrench do I need to remove the line from the hoses on the front brake hoses? And why are the right side hoses more expensive than the left?

    first mod

    Lift and tires.
  7. Does anyone know off hand what size line wrench I would need to remove the calipers from the front brake lines. And is it a torx bolt or a socket head to remove the caliper pins. I need to borrow tools from a guy at work and I just want to borrow what I need. ;)
  8. So it looks like nothin' to it but to do it. Thanks for the input. Since it is the only thing I have to cut with right now I will be using a hand held grinder but I don't think that will make much difference. :dunno:
  9. Black.
  10. So I want to trim my front fenders level with the bottom of the headlights like most people do. I want to do this simply for the fact it is the only place the tires rub right now. It looks like a pretty straight foreward job but I wanted to ask if the are any tricks or suprizes I should know about. I really hate cutting into the sheet metal but I hate changing a tire on the trail more. So any tips would be appreciated. :chillin:
  11. I have had good luck with my Auburn gearset.
  12. Never trust an air gun alone to tighten your lugs. I still do it the slow old fashioned way. With a 1/2" drive socket and a breaker bar. Seen a tire or two fall off from just using an air gun.
  13. So I broke down and tried this Bud Light Lime stuff and... I like it!

    military paint

Just found out the military surplus store down the street carries the actual paint the military uses on their vehicles. $24.99 a gallon. I just may have to paint my truck green. :hmm:
  15. The heck with beer. It makes you pee too much. Just drink whiskey. It'll put hair on your chest. 8)
  16. I am gonna be replacing calipers. And rigging up my extra motor cooler idea. It's just an extra heater core that I will be mounting in the grille like a tranny cooler. Sounds kinda  doesn't it. :D
  17. Another good one I haven't heard mentioned is KROIL. PB is good stuff but this is way better. But you know what they say about opinions. :chillin:
  18. Thanks guys. I got some more stuff coming in a bit. Just savin' up cash.
  19. The day is not set in stone yet. But a good idea would be Saturday/Sunday. That damn work stuff gets in the way.
  20. Well the kid was as good as his word and showed up with the money right when he said he would. And as far as the car is concerned. It was nothing a little massaging with a hammer and a trip to the boneyard for some taillights couldn't handle. I personally think celebrities are great cars. I have owned probably 3 counting this one. I am just glad there are a few honest people left in the world. Not the smartest but honest. :D
  21. So I mounted a factory skid and a bed mount tire carrier on my truck. Here are some pics. But first a few poser shots. :D Now, The skid plate fresh from the yard Cleaned it up a bit and welded in a tube Paint And in place Now for the cheap A$$ tire carrier The carrier is rock solid. All in all I am satisfied.
  22. Not! Just had the rear of my car creamed by some dumb kid on a cell phone. :headpop: I was gonna call the cops but the kid was driving a brand new truck, lives less than a block away from me and he said he would pay me $100 this afternoon. This goes against my better judgement. But when I was young this cool guy gave me a break when I would have been up the crick w/o a paddle. So I gave him a break and told him I trusted him to do the right thing. So we will see how it goes. If he doesn't show I guess I may just have to talk to his father. My car was almost a classic too LOL.
  23. Those look pretty much like Liberty taillights. :dunno:
  24. I do miss those Florida Storms. I lived in Lecanto for a year and a half. :chillin:
