  1. cool :D
  2. might to see if the vac. hose is clogged and if the hose connector on the booster is working properly
  3. the booster's diaphragm could be worn out. Now would be as good time as any to upgrade to a WJ BB. its real easy and here is a link to a DIY that Comanche Country made.
  4. is there a leak in the brake lines somewhere? does the BB have any rust on it? might have rusted through like my old one did.
  5. here is my current inverter, its a bit big and no longer located in that spot. It can power several of my power tools, such as the starter for my gas trimmer, heavy duty power drill, laptop, or my tv, xbox, and direct tv box all at once. My dad has a smaller inverter somewhere its about half the size of mine and is 300 watts vs 1000 watts
  6. is there room in the dash to hook up a power inverter for things that use A/C power? right now my inverter is behind the drivers seat but i like the idea of a plug being in the ash tray. Great write up
  7. Well I will be turning 21 on Jan. 30th... not sure what to do this year
  8. says the man that lives outside the rustbelt... I live right on the Gulf Coast, there is practically salt in the air. not as bad here as up there i am sure.. I remember the first scratch after i got my new paint... it went all the way to bear metal and rusted in hours. :ack:
  9. i was able to use a pipe wrench and a couple socket sets to remove my D44 from its cherokee donor
  10. I passed another Comanche on the interstate
  11. Looks Great!
  12. just shift it into fulltime and forget about it. :D I don't remember the last time the Libby was shifted out of fulltime. :dunno: the old CAD collar is also broke on my D30... I have a replacement axle but it is going to be put on with the D44 to keep the proper gears
  13. my Beagle pup Chaos loved soda and water bottles.. he started out the same size at a 20 oz bottle and finally get to the point to where he could get his mouth around it.. i miss my pup
  14. money to pay taxes.. for the MJ: new drive shafts, D44 perches moved, D44 disc conversion, WARN winch, TC shifter linkage, new carpet, redo the seats, pay someone to keep the rear view mirror form falling off again, new front axle, oil change, and new breaks and pads... for the WK: new tires, new brakes and pads, new headlights (maybe HIDs), MOPAR Kicker speaker upgrade, heated seats, grille guard or push bumper, oil change, 08+ factory nav unit (and lockpick), new climate control lights, and i am sure the list can keep on .. and for the 61 CJ-5: I would be happy if i could find a used tub.
  15. i had a 231, but replaced it with a 242 when i upgraded to an AX-15.. the 231 was a good tc but I wanted full time 4wd when it started poring rain while i was unlucky enough to be in the Comanche. however i have been unable to use it because i haven't hooked up the shifter linkage after the transmission swap
  16.    love your MJ
  17. we used the one at the auto parts store.. we are hoping that it is not something too expensive to fix :hmm:
  18. thats what the engine code said on the reader was "9... hydraulic pump circuit malfunction" (just asked Robert what the reader said) power steering works, and has oil pressure. what other hydraulic pumps are there?
  19. My room mate's 01 grand Cherokee limited 4.0L was throwing the engine code 9.... any help?
  20. how does it sound? Deep like a v8 and not loud, or deep and loud, or loud. I am looking for something that will give my Comanche a Deeper sound but not make it too loud, sorta like the v8 in my WK or our Dodge Dakota v8 we had.
  21. I agree with Pete. I had to drive an auto loaner when my Civic was in the body shop, and I kept pressing where the clutch pedal should be when I was starting the car, and not being able to shift bugs me. Oh, and before I get taken to the cleaners for driving a foreign car, I gotta' say: the Honda gets 3x the mpg that my MJ does, and all that money goes toward "upgrades" to the Jeep. Not to mention that it's 40 miles a day that aren't being put on the Jeep, I'm prolonging it's life, lol. :agree: My MJ is a 5 speed dad's is auto and i can't find the clutch in his  when i drive any other auto where the shifter is in the same spot as my 5 speed i try to drive it like a 5 speed.. that usually does not work out well..
  22. not my Comanche but, ... the auto parts store called me, said there was a guy with a 92 Comanche (it was the silver one I saw in mobile a month or so ago) that needed some help finding parts (the oil filter adapter was leaking)... ..on a side note i just remembered that online store i couldn't remember while i was on the phone with the guy..
  23. http://soundbible.com/1400-Shotgun.html when this is heard they know that they stop at the wrong house Btw i am in agreement with Oceanic815... if one has a big dog and the criminal is looking to get into the house they will :brows: and the only sound that has stopped them dead in there tracks or running super fast and stopping by to check themself caused the lost some weight in there pants. I sign could say my dog is the early warning system as I load my shotgun. why keep it un-loaded? my 870 is 7+1 and you can bet there is one in the chamber. there are no what if its loaded... it is and its ready to rock!
  24. pretty much all my neighbors are family, my uncle lives on the south side, west is Mr. Ken (he was Police Officer) on the seat side is my uncle's rental house, and the next two houses east are my grandmother and aunt. my family pretty much owns all the 20 acre block :D
