  1. Moved the Dana 44 from Dad's MJ to My MJ  Just need to put the axle back on dad's MJ
  2. It is time to swap the D35 for the D44.. or rather the D-35 from my Jeep and the D-44 from Dad's Jeep Snoopy Help trying to help.
  3. and be willing to walk away THAT was the biggest factor on the final price for my WK is that we walked.. They called me 5 min. later with a lower price and better interest rate. if they didn't make us wait 4 hours to start the paperwork we wouldn't have walked in the first place.
  4. the only reason i got my WK was because of the damaged parts... the front door handle was broke and it was a $750 part, so I got him to knock that off and i fixed it the next day for $20 from the Junk yard. that bumped my monthly payments below $200.. Check how much it would cost you to repair the truck and that may save you some money and lower the monthly rate. dad co-signed for me witch a good interest rate, so if you know someone with a great credit score (like parents or grand parents) see if they can co-sign.
  5. i want it.... all i have is $5 in change..
  6. only have a rear.. the 4.56 is from a 2wd the D30 from the donor has 3.55 gears and that is going onto my Blue MJ...
  7. the original plan wasn't to sell them... we don't really want to but we need to...
  8. its good that the 3.07 will work with the auto, i just never saw anything less than a 3.55 be used with an auto... well that means less work for me  :wrench:
  9. sadly its 2wd but we have a 4wd donor for it.. the original plan was to use the donor's 4wd tranny and 242 TC in the black MJ and the Donors 4.0 engine in the Red MJ with Blacks original 2wd Tranny. But now dad is working 7 days a week with 12 hour shifts so he has no time and i work 5 days a week but end up doing something other than working on the jeeps on the weekends.. I guess with 3.07 gears i can say it will get good gas mileage on the highway lol
  10. I will Finally be getting the D44 from dads MJ but he needs an axle for his mj so i have 2 options.. 1st is a D35 with 3.07 gears (from My Blue MJ 4.0 5 Speed) 2nd is a D35 with 4.56 gears (from the engineless trannyless red mj 2.5 auto) dads mj is a auto with the 4.0. would it be ok if i put the 3.07 axle on his MJ or should i put the 4.56 instead? we are planning to sell His MJ to pay some bills, and at the moment it is a lawn ordainment we haven't had any time to work on it or the other Jeeps so we decided to clear out the yard.
  11. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8093
  12. My 88 Pioneer Bone Stock Before: New Paint And yes I did fix the upside down Grille... guy at the paint shop put it on that way :shake: Current
  13. Better not show that to my Dad, His MJ is due for new paint and he just might do something like that.. lol
  14. All of my neighbors have dogs most of those dogs are the ones that don't shut up :fs1: the good sound insulation is only in the New part of the house (where the bedrooms are thankfully) and the old part has thin single pain windows and can hear everything with a high pitch sound outside
  15. actually he is a rather quiet beagle :D he only barks or howls when my roommate's dog has been barking for a while (fixed his dog with a bark collar LOL :brows: ) I am also thankful the house is as well sound insulated as it is, we had a drum set in one of the other rooms and you can barely hear it down the hall when someone was playing on it. So we don't really hear the dogs much :D but I am sure the neighbors can
  16. Here is the stock (very worn) 4x4 pack that was on my MJ vs the MT Hell creek Stock Top MT Hell Creek Bottom
  17. Why not? or,,you got that right. Been talking to a guy about his '91 Eliminator. If I can get him down a couple hundred it'll make my 15th. To the best of my knowledge that will leave only 2 MJ'S in Pueblo county not in my yard. :rotfl2:
  18. we had a small one for the fridge and freezer i think it was 2000 watts...
  19. I have been thinking about getting one at times, seeing how i live right on the Gulf of Mexico :D but loss of power doesn't really bother me much... at least till i need the internet anyway..
  20. This weekend I drove 705.4 miles round trip to pick up Butter Ball. He is 2 years old and the Brother to Chaos our Beagle puppy we had... Any way he seems do like to ride in the passenger seat as well as try to crawl into my lap while driving... about two thirds of the way home he wanted to sit in my lap, so we had a little bit of a struggle some swerving and he downshifted the WK a couple times before i gave up. He them promptly fell asleep with his head on the steering wheel... thankfully the rest stop was 2 miles away at that point.. so we got off there and walked around some and put him in the back where he stayed the rest of the trip with his head propped on the back seats looking at me with big puppy eyes saying "why did you put me back here, i want to sit with you.." we made it home safely and he became part of the family instantly.
  21. :agree: I now have three :jump: :jump:
