I understand where your coming from Eagle, your doing your job as a mod and I can respect that. Your right in that people out there are willing to sue over anything they can think of just to try and make a buck. In this case though it would never hold in the long run though. (makes me thing of a few yrs back a guy bought a big RV. Was told by the dealer that it had "auto pilot", meaning cruise control. Well, he was out on the highway a few months later and set the "auto pilot", got up and went in the back to make coffee! Needless to say he ended up rolling it in the ditch. He tried suing the RV company for it because he supposedly believed it would drive itself! Just crazy.) As far as lights go, a person is free to do whatever they choose at their discretion. My personal view on it is its just another example of how sad this world has become. With all the serious crimes that happen every day, its pretty pathetic how law enforcement would focus on a set of lights unless your intentionally blinding people with them. Otherwise ya can't tell me there isnt something more important they could be doing. That happens ALOT. They should focus more on other things. Cody, ya need to relax there dude. I agree with some of things ya said but it aint worth gettin all worked up over cause it won't change a thing except cause more problems for yourself.

I gotta say I don't agree with bringing Pete's name into this. He has not even been a part of this peticular thread. What guy's on here decide to do to their trucks is completely up to them, legal or not. Also, whatever we choose to do is OUR choice and has absolutely nothing to do with Pete or anybody else on here. Its crazy to say somebody will get "busted" for what another person decides to do to their own personal vehicle. If I tell ya to try some weed and you get busted for possession do ya think the "he told me to do it" defense would hold up? I think not. Just my two cents on the matter. I don't think they enforce that law too much unless your drawing major attention to yourself and the cop wants to tag ya for anything he can find. I have in the past, and currently run both fog (top of bumper) and driving (under bumper) lights. both sets are on separate switches to be on whenever I choose. I always have them on at night and have never, in about 16 yrs, have been bothered by any law enforcement about them.

hmmmm interesting. I have said plate. Which numbers are the ones for the paint?

Will be doing a new paint job soon and want to keep it the original colors. All I know is its silver with I'm guessing charcoal rockers and flares. Everything is pretty sun faded and the stickers are either gone or faded. Does anybody have any info on how I can find what exactly the original colors were so I know what to buy?

speakers are fine. after it cuts out I can hook the factory deck up and it works great.

Long story short, aftermarket deck, new speakers, all wiring is correct and the sound goes out but otherwise the deck is fully functional. Even exchanged the deck for another new one with the same results. Its a 97 thunderbird. The stereo will work, turn the car off, come back an hour later and no sound but it powers up. Extremely confused! If ya need more details just ask

Or do what I did and register it as a collector which makes it emissions exempt. Here in NV anyway, not sure if its the same for you. It cost me I think something like $45ish for the plates and $10/year for renewal and I don't have to deal with the smog crap.

If the window is the cause, see if he would be willing to put an awning on it. Cheap and easy. That should make a difference.

or not tight enough. IMO get some belt dressing, spray it on there with it running and see if the sqeak goes away.
