Just curious, everybody says spray the window or lube the channel, what if ya have tinted windows?? I don't think any of those options would be good for your tint.

Yeah it works wonders. 10 times better than that worthless mini console. Cup holders, all the extra storage space, ya can't beat it.

I have the full console with cup holder attachment and wouldn't say its not great. I love it. Works pretty damn good IMO.

Mud in the rear drum brakes??? Id say if it was a bent rim that bad you would for sure notice more than just a scraping noise while driving.

I have a stash of strobes that law enforcement use. I got em when I use to be a mechanic at a cab company. we got all of our cars from auction. retired law enforcement, government, state, etc. All crown vics. I discovered they never removed the strobes in the tail and side marker lights. They just cut the wires. Something to think about anyway if ya want good quality strobes. All ya need is a control box which are easy enough to find.

Yeah, I can see issues if ya live in a damp climate. It wouldnt be too good in the rain. I could get away with it for sure though. It only rains a couple times a year here and it only lasts about 10 mins!

Pretty much the same here except mine was free and completely rust free top and bottom as it has spent its 26 year life in the nevada desert. The paint is shot from the sun and heat but all nuts and bolts, parts and pieces come off like it was a brand new truck which is great. Just slowly working on a full restoration. -

Its not the engine bay harness that's the issue. Its the interior harness. No need for the engine bay harness as it plugs in at the firewall.

HAHA Wouldn't blame ya one bit. I've come very close to doing something similar myself. My plan was to drag it out in the desert and use it for AR target practice! -

Well I guess i'm safe for not having that clip. good to know. Not sure on the seal. When I did mine since I had to tear into the trans I bought the gasket kit and it came with a seal. -

It just dawned on me.....When I tore my trans down to fix the busted shift rod there never was a retainer clip on there. Been driving the truck for over a year since I got it and never had issues due to it being gone. Never put one in either when I put it all back together. Up until now I didn't even know there was suppose to be one on there. I don't think ya really need a clip. lol At least it doesn't seem that I do anyway -

I'm not sure where your located or if its worth it but I know a guy at a local jeep shop herein town. I know he does have an ax-5 core or two. He might be willing to sell ya one and ship it to ya. Not sure about the cost though. Ya would have to talk to him about that. If your interested let me know and I'll give ya his contact info. -

That sleeve is one piece with that plate or at least it came off as one assembly when I tore mine apart. I have an AX-5, exterior slave. Had it all apart a couple weeks ago cause I snapped the 1st/2nd shift rod and had to replace it. Not sure what ya got but if it doesnt have that sleeve the throwout will not fit on there right. That would explain your problem. -
Yep its being changed due to a leaky master. It started a few months ago that my dash lights would cut out from time to time. Then the other day my parking lights started to cut out so I figure its about time to do the swap.

Was afraid of that! I figured it was part of the main harness with no plug. That would be too easy. Guess I know what I'll be doin the next couple of days. Does anybody on here work for beer? HA
