  1. "Looks as though a 500# guy is sitting in the drivers seat" Marry a fat girl and go cruising. It should level itself out within a few weeks.
  2. yep, you do need to rotate it to get to one of those screws. make sure its in the center position when you put everything back together
  3. If I remember correctly from last time I had one apart, you gotta align the combination switch (the part that the lever pushes into) with the turn signal switch (the roundish white piece with the 3 screws and wires) correctly. the white piece has to be in the center position. if all that isnt aligned properly the turn signal lever won't click and will just hang there. Hope that helps maybe somebody will have more/better info for ya
  4. accurate part names and more details than just "turn signals don't work" would probably allow people to help you better......just sayin The more info the better.
  5. Those are pretty cool. I'm gonna have to take that in and have it made up. I know a place here in town that will make any type of graphics you want in vinyl any colors. Something like that would cost about $12
  6. look at the 3rd post down in the tech section
  7. hmmm fluid on the ground could be a bad thing and a source of the problem. id guess the line between the master and slave gave out. I'm curious about the "problematic" bolt on the master. What exactly are you guys talking about?
  8. I did mine not too long go and did not resurface the flywheel. have had no issues except for faulty masters and slaves. Did ya try bleeding it? might be worth a shot before ya tear it all apart.
  9. What brand master did you get??
  10. Powder Tide with bleach
  11. Just noticed this but 90 mj eliminator said he has all the hardware needed. Send him a note and maybe he'll set ya up with what ya need.
  12. hmm, not so sure you can buy just the brackets. From that exploded diagram it appears that they may just bolt in and are removable. so maybe ya can get lucky and find a metric ton in a jy. I've never looked at mine close enough though. I'm sure somebody will chime in. While we're on the topic, I will have a pair of rust free doors with those factory mirror mounts that I will be getting rid of in the near future when I swap my doors out for full power. If anybody is interested and really wants that style mirrors, let me know.
  13. The skin has nothing to do with the mirror brackets. The brackets are part of the internal door structure.

    IRS Letter

Yesterday, I got a surprise in my mailbox. I had been good this year and filed my taxes on time. But the IRS sent my Tax Return back!! On the form listing all the reasons for tax returns to be returned, the IRS had checked off the box for "dependents". But on my tax return, I had dutifully followed the instruction to "List All Dependents": ■12 million illegal immigrants ■3 million crack heads ■46 million people on food stamps ■87 million civilians not in the labor force ■2 million people in over 243 prisons ■ 535 fools in the U.S. House and Senate ■and one illegal Kenyan immigrant at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. But the IRS apparently finds my response inadequate. So I sent it back with a question: "Did I forget someone?"
  15. Pics would be great!
  16. Give me your email address either here or in PM and ill send ya pics from my phone. Itll be easier than uploading them to the pc. Can also text em, whichever is best for you
  17. ok ill get ya a pic
  18. yeah I'm kinda confused too. even if it was that gasket there is nowhere for fluid to pool. would just run down the side. :huh???: :???:
  19. You referring to the "fuel injection" badge on the tailgate or is there another one I'm not aware of? If so I can take a pic of mine.
  20. if its what I'm thinking of remove the 4 bolts around the shift lever and take it out and either put a new gasket in or use rtv.
  21. Mine does the same thing but its really random so its hard to tell what/if anything helps. tried the water trick and it didnt seem to do anything so I just deal with it. sometimes it won't do it for a couple weeks at a time. I use the clutch to stop it.
  22. I have a local guy here who I got the full gasket set for I believe about $12. He can ship too. PM me if your still in need and I'll give ya his contact info.
