  1. Was roaming the street tech forum on NAXJA and stumbled across this: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=981314
  2. I'm in Az....pm me and i can help you locate a lot of stuff
  3. Yes...everything is the same!! youll have to cut more off b/c MJ's have more bracing than XJ's
  4. Rock Ratz is a joke...they wanted $550 bucks for a POS tube bumper that looked like crap....plus they are no longer making them or anything for that matter
  5. personally i would go with RockKrawler longarms and have a shop do the work for you....will be much easier
  6. no it unbolts....there are 4 bolts
  7. I'm sitting at just over 7" on 33's and love it...I'm on DB and don't get hung on anything or rub...i made the neccessary bumpstop extentions to keep the tires out of the body too :D
  8. all of your questions were just answered a few topics down from this one  searching nets results: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14003
  9. 235/75 R15 would fit...might have slight rubbing....31's would fit but will rub
  10. Wow...no visible rust--->Look at the passenger side rocker....excellent exterior--->bent to hell rear bumper jeez  :fs1: :shake: :fool: :dunce:
  11. just get standard brake lines...autozone carries them
  12. Use your MJ proportioning valve...don't waste your time in swapping in the XJ one
  13. cleaned up my rollbar and painted some spots on it and re-installed it...gotta fix the transfercase leak next weekend
  14. Simply put: *get a 95-96 booster/master cylinder(don't forget the aluminum spacer) *get a 95-96 pedal assembly w/brake switch (easy to wire in...don't waste your time doing the filing crap with the old switch NOT WORTH IT) *take the old fitting off your lines (proportioning valve side) and the fittings off the new master cylinder side and go have new lines made with the fittings in the correct spot(don't waste your time with adapters) *Leave the rear load sensing valve in...it will work the same... I did it this exact way and has worked perfectly for the last year!
  15. The front on the XJ and MJ is the same ONLY....the rear suspension is completely different...MJ's are SUA and have longer leaves and XJ's are SOA and have slightly shorter leaf packs
  16. :agree: Verified this recently when I installed an adj. trackbar to center my front axel. After the install, the steering wheel was right off center by about 45 degrees. Brought it to a friend who has an alignment shop. The toe was spot-on on the computer as it was before the trackbar install, and I verified it with equal measurements w. a tape measure between the rear and front sides of the tires just for my own amusement. We then adjusted the drag link to center the steering wheel, took about two complete turns, then re-checked the toe. The computer showed no change in the toe; the tape showed a 1/16" change (eyeball cal is relative :D ). No toe correction was necessary, I trusted the computer more. Maybe after three turns or more of the drag link SLIGHT toe adjustment might be necessary, but it would be neglible. Yeah Eagle, do not attempt to align by removing the pitman arm from the steering box. Yea that is why my steering wheel was off was from installing my RockKrawler Trackbar....i also took it to an alignment shop and everything is spot on where it should be as it was b4
  17. No real point and i think unless its a desiel its retarded to do :thwak:
  18. fixed my steering wheel and my alignment is still 100% dead on as it was b4 i adjusted it :clapping:
  19. Thx for the help everyone...that worked perfectly
  20. hmmm i can see that working....i guess i can try that to see if it works :D
  21. Well its not going to be that far off..maybe 1-3MPH is about it...changing the speedo gear is easy...its on the transmission(2wd) or on the tailcone of the transfercase(4wd)...unbolt the holder and pop it out and replace it....simple
  22. that doesnt seem right to me....maybe I'm just not seeing it....if i adjust the sleeve on the draglink(which runs from the pitman arm to the pass. knuckle) how is that not going to move my tire out and mess with my alignment....the steering doesnt have a true wheel to wheel centerlink...I'm confused on what your describing
  23. Yea but adjusting that would throw my alignment off then right?
  24. OK after i installed my RK trackbar my steering wheel is turned to the right when the wheels are pointing straight foward...since the pitman arm is notched i can just pull the pitman arm off and move it so is there any other type of adjustment i can make to re-correct my steering wheel...its driving me up a wall :wall:
  25. yes i have intermitent wiper...what are you talking about the stalk?
