    On eBay in Olathe, KS asking $13k seems like a great deal for a Crewmanche conversion.

    Two of mine were in much worse shape and never had an issue with the belts.

    Are you sure you’re tightening the belt enough?

    If all you’re replacing is the sender gasket and lock ring it should be a piece of cake. Just don’t move the sender. I would use a brass punch or rod (non-sparking) to knock the ring loose and tighten.

    My O2 comment was assuming it was up to temperature.

    Your O2 sensor is not working properly. Test the resistance between A&B on the sensor itself, should be between 5-7Ω. Aftermarket ones have not been working properly in my opinion. Your TPS reading at idle should be 17, easy to adjust search in Cruisers Tips.

    If it’s that weakened, I would loosen the steering column support rods and drop the column a little.
