  1. AWESOME! I should have done this years ago. Been doing a lot of hiking with the dogs. And it's amazing how many little projects around the house get neglected or put off when you only get two days a week to work on them. My new hobby is making jerky, this was my first attempt, turned out delicious but this particular recipe needs some tweaking for my taste.
  2. Please let us know what you find out.
  3. Build sheet please.
  4. I would take it, even with that weird shift boot.
  5. The MJ is sooo much bigger.
  6. It's required for your HVAC and cruise control to work. People relocate it near the blower motor. Or locate the solenoid box in the engine bay away from water.
  7. Yes, just regular weatherpack connectors.
  8. The stock fog light wiring is a different harness which includes all the front light wiring, a relay, and connects to the 10-pin connector by the air box. The harness is the same with or without brush guard. When I find the pictures I'll post them here. Edit: added pictures
  9. Go to the registry list post, download the Excel file, filter for black in the exterior color column, click on links to see what pictures have been posted.
  10. Which hidden winch mount are you using?
  11. Spinnaker Blue Metallic, PB3 on the firewall tag.
  12. Here's a pic of the brackets for the tow hooks, your bracket is circled.
  13. That plate looks like part of the tow hook re-enforcement plate set up.
  14. @Orko1978 see above and start a post in the 1986 registry section. @Pete Mcan these instructional posts be locked so people do not post their MJs here?
  15. The website is in Polish and it's staying in Poland.
  16. We are always here to help!
  17. 1988 4.0L 5 Speed Manual Floor Shift Part Time 4WD 6Ft. Box Pioneer, Std. Payload If you post it in the Registry someone will get you more information. https://comancheclub.com/forum/31-1988/
  18. As long as it's cared for I personally don't care where it is. Welcome to CC and congratulations. Where in Europe is it's new home? Please keep us updated on what you do to it.
  19. If you post its VIN we can get you more information on it.
  20. Like the MJ, some parts are FJC specific, such as the brush guard.
  21. I've never seen one at a wrecking yard but there's actually a huge following for the FJC (check out how much 2014s are selling for and compare it to the Wrangler) the problem is they were only available in the US from 2007 to 2014, similar to the MJ's run. I've been looking for the brush guard for a few months, got a lead from a member on an FJC forum, the lights I got from eBay several years ago for a great price. There is quite a bit of after-market support, there's even a CARB compliant supercharger!
  22. Thanks Michael. Project #1 complete, not for the MJ but FJ Cruiser. OEM brush guard and OEM auxiliary lights.
  23. It was originally Classic Black, PX6/QX6, not red
