  6. Same thing happened with my YJ. it was on a vac axle i shoved a rag in the axle tube and didn't use 4wd until i found some new shafts. you could tack weld the caps in and just drive it like that until you find some new ones too edit: when i drove without the axle shaft in i put the stub shaft back in the unit bearing hub i wasn't sure if it could possibly separate without it being held together with the stub.... the 2wd uses the same deal so its probbaly fine without it but whatever.....
  7. Hunt: I name this here fork "Pittsburgh Nellie"; a Welsh lady of the night who could do things with her one good arm that'd make you forget that *thing* on her neck.
  8. I bought the wing nut type made by OTC and the tube slipped out no matter how tight i clamped it in a vice. I heated the end of the tube up with a propane torch let it cool off and it flared fine.

  11. I tried to get my comanche running yesterday after sitting all winter and it only cranks. last fall when i parked it it was idling really rough i figured it was bad plugs. so i stuck a new plug on one of the wires and checked for spark and nothing! so I'm thinking its probably a CPS or coil is there any way to test them with a meter and tell which one it might be?
  13. 84-96 fenders are squared off on the top and it flows into that years header panel. the 97+ fenders are rounded on top. so if you use old fenders with 97+ panel the square fenders will flow right into the rounded it will work but it looks halfassed. I'm sure you could sand down and fill the 97 panel to have the right lines and blend it in or something. or you could just keep the more badasser looking older front end and save a bunch of time.
  14. lmfao!
  15. "What we were after now was the old surprise visit. That was a real kick and good for laughs and lashings of the old ultra-violence."
  16. Yes it happened to me when my MJ sat for years but i seen stuff hanging out of the bottom so i pulled the tranny and cleaned it out.
  17. I'm about 40 miles away from the place that sells thoes fenders and i bought them and went to pick them up i got them for like $28 a piece or something. i think they are a little thiner than the factory fenders but they arnt THAT bad for the price they are great. i bought a header panel from them to but its made of plastic and it sucks.
  18. I felt it... there was an aftershock to around 10:00 this morning
  19. I herd somewhere a exhaust leak can cause it. mine backfires between gears if i get on it really hard. it leaks between the header and down pipe. just a thought...
