  1. I wouldn’t put a bigger carb on it. 2.8's practically come from the factory with a rod hanging out of it to begin with. If I were you I would rebuild the carb and keep the oil changed and drive it till it died.
  2. it will bolt in but its low pinion
  3. lol.... It's a new internet fad going around "You got Rick Rolled!" I thought it was funny as hell when i seen it on another forum..... I'm old enough to remember the guy though. to all who clicked it.... YOU GOT RICK ROLLED! :D
  4. http://tinyurl.com/2s4x6q
  5. its more complicated than ring and pinion set up from what i read in the FSM. it does call for an inch pound torque wrench and probably other special tools. I just replaced mine with a junkyard unit
  6. They stink when you cook them if i remember correctly. Might want to open the windows lol
  7. Is that "Electric Lime Green"? i really liked that color there is a TJ around her with 35's in that color it looks awesome. Its never dirty though i think its a poser.
  8. you need to paint them wheels black or buy new ones
  9. Dual exhaust on a 4.0 hurts performance from everything i have read. 4.0 needs alot of backpresure i guess you could run dual 1" pipes lol
  10. 1/2" after they all snap off in the unibody and you have to weld new nut plates in.
  11. Sweet..... I just came across a D44 from a comanche for $75 its going in my YJ :D
  12. I'm going to rip mine out
  13. don't sell it, put a 3.4 or a 3.8 camaro engine in it. that's the exact truck I had before I put my 3.8 in it, and it's BETTER than any 4.0 out there (except strokers/supercharged ones). :thwak: I would say 1992 4.0 HO AX15 short bed with a D44 out of a older Manche (edit: just found out D44's were available in all but 1986 Comanches) why you gots to hit me? I wasn't lyin! Sorry I'm a 7 main bearing inline 6 fanatic. When i pop the hood on a jeep and see a 3 foot long valve cover i feel all warm and fuzzy inside. That and i don't care for anything GM has built in a long time
  14. all the D35 pins are threaded from what i have worked on. the D30's use a roll pin. this is the only pic i could find of the D35 pin they have a 12 point head on them and are threaded at the base. But yeah.... i highly doubt JB weld will hold it lol
  15. ROTFLMFAO
  16. Yeah thats a D44. is that factory? thought they only came in 86, 87, 88's or something like that?

  19. The header should get tested for STD's
  20. I had a problem like that on my Comanche. Replacing the sending unit fixed it.
  21. Stop Speeding!
