  1. It has nothing to do with shifting gears because it does it sometimes as soon as I start it. And its not only revving up a little bit it revs up as high as the needle will go which is why I have to quickly shut down the truck until I can start it at a normal R.P.M. so that I don't blow my motor. The only way I notice it when I'm driving is when I let off the accelerater to slow down and instead I'm gaining speed without touching the pedal. The throttle is not sticking we've already checked that out.
  2. My MJ has a bad habit of occasionally over revving on me. It does it sometimes when I start it, it will rev out to max. and it is really scary when it does it while I'm driving. I don't notice it till I go to shift gears. While it's in gear the R.P.M.'s are normal but the second I touch the clutch it revs up to max and I usually have to pop into nuetral and quickly shut the truck off and coast to the shoulder of the road and let it sit for 15-20 mins before I can start it again with out it revving up. Does anybody know what might be causing this?
  3. I to had the same problem this past summer. after about two weeks like that it started blowing all the coolant out the cap. After I bought a new bottle and cap from chrysler, I found out it was because my electric fan wasn't working. a friend of mine got it working for me and I haven't had a problem since.
  4. It was alot of fun. To bad my MJ's broke down right now, so I couldn't take it. But hopefully next year. It is good to be back on the site. Had a rough summer but things are getting back to normal now. Should be seeing me here lots now.
  5. Welcome to the site, nice MJ. what size tires you runnin'? I'm looking at going from my 4 1/2 inches of lift to 6 1/2 inches and runnin 35s.
  6. Here are a few pics from the Quesnel Canyon crawl that was on may 17-18/08 [/img]
  7. Where abouts is it that you were wheelin? We went on a wheelin' trip about 2 1/2 years ago to McLean Creek. Was a lot of fun. Looks pretty cool there to.
  8. Me and my husband & 2 half grown kids are living in a 28 1/2 ft fifth wheel travel trailer at the moment. Have been since the end of may and with the rental prices around here probably will be for a long time to come yet. If we could find a trailer on a piece of property for a decent price you can bet we'd jump on it. We've lived in a couple mobile homes and there not so bad once you get settled into them.
  9. Hey guys, my names Kris, I love wheelin' and I'm usually the one to talk my husband into goin' playin. this first pic is of me and a good friend who started mud racing this past summer. this was the first race we ever did. This next pic is me and my husband I'm sitting in a friends '86 toyota.

    Weather WTF

Up here in Alberta Canada we've got lots of snow now to, but our temps last week broke records through out the province. We had temps down to -43 with -57 wind chills last monday that lasted till wednesday before we warmed up to -25 with -37 wind chills that are still hanging around. I'm a pipeliner and had to work outside in that the whole time.
  11. My names Kris, Live in in a small town in Alberta Canada, for the next month anyway, then moving to a really secluded area of B.C. to take over runnin' a ranch.
  12. I would definately be interested one to if you have any extras. Let me know so I can PM you with my info
  13. Having problems with my high beams. If anyone knows how to fix this I would like any info you can give. When I turn my high beams on I have a hard time turning them off again, usually not in time for a passing vehicle. It usually takes a long time of me holding the switch for them to turn off. if it is the switch does anybody know how to change it.
