you can rent the tool for free at autozone or you can get a OTC brand set like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OTC-3-IN ... enameZWDVW cheap off ebay. the generic ones will just bend and be worthless. i bought a OTC off ebay with the extra cups for $30 -

"Some historians have reason to believe people don't really understand the genealogy of past U.S. Presidents. Research shows at least five U.S. presidents had black ancestors and Thomas Jefferson, the nation's third president, was considered the first black president, according to historian Leroy Vaughn, author of Black People and Their Place in World History. Vaughn's research shows Jefferson was not the only former black U.S. president. Who were the others? Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding and Calvin Coolidge. But why was this unknown? How were they elected president? All five of these presidents never acknowledged their black ancestry." http://www.diversityinc.com/public/1461.cfm i don't know why people are making a big deal about it Obama is just as white as he is black lol

even if he becomes president he won't be the first black president

replacing battery acid

i thought that was for testing antifreeze -
I finally found a place that will press a new one on and true it up for $75. I might buy a new crank/rod I'm just trying to do this cheaply but have it be reliable. The PO rode it with a loose chain and it busted the case but other than that it ran good. i thought for $750 it was to good to pass up but by the time its done i will probably have over $1000 in it, still not bad i guess.

I picked up a Honda 400ex that needed the bottom end case replaced for cheap. So I'm tearing it down and everything looks pretty good so far except for when i got to the wrist pin. its scored some and so is the inside of the rod. The rod is not easily replaceable because its one of them cranks you have to press apart to install a new rod. anyone know how much shops charge to do this or know of a good cheap one?

Can this header be welded?
jeepthing07 replied to MiNi Beast's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
When my YJ started stalling at stoplights on 90* days is how i found out my exhaust manifold was cracked, and when i was trying to find out what the problem was i noticed how hot my engine compartment was. then i found the cracked manifold pulled it off welded it stuck it back on and problem was gone... but it ended up cracking again but by that time summer was over so it kept my engine a little cooler.... but i replaced it with a doug thorley header never had it happen again. -
Can this header be welded?
jeepthing07 replied to MiNi Beast's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
a cracked exhaust manifold CAN cause stalling.... its called vapor lock i had the same problem on my YJ thats what you get when you have a cracked exhaust manifold under your intake manifold and injectors it will be more noticeable on hot days too http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vapour_lock -
