got it home safe and sound. washed and cleaned it out to see what i was dealing with. theres rust but not a lot. where there is on the body, its eaten through. the frame is soild though. ive already got several leads for most parts i would need. even a new body if i wanted. its rough but you can't beat free

mine is almost ready to be brought home! its going to be a long, slow road before this thing runs again. complete tear down and rebuild.

I'm still wanting to remove the bed and start the tube bed for the MJ. we'll see. another project is an 89 samurai I'm dragging home later this week. its been picked over, then went under in the flood earlier this year. some rust in the rear fender wells and one spot in the cargo area. everything else is solid. plan to do a full resto on it. since its my first real go of it, figured might as well start with something as easy as a samurai

looks good! this is what I'm used to using so I'm loving it. only thing i can say that i don't like is the little CC banner at the top of the page. couldnt we do like cherokee forum and put little pics of the comanche of the month or maybe throw up a few MJ pics along with the banner? i know i know, you just got the new site going but just food for thought :thumbsup:

get both lower and upper adjustables so you can dial in your caster perfectly and no, you won't need to drop your tcase at all. photobucket is a good way to upload pics.

did some night wheelin'. got a little rough with him. we'll see tomorrow what i dragged across a few rocks

get some mesh screen or maybe like a net tailgate type deal and throw it on the tube doors. the mesh would do wonders about the rocks and stuff but the net thing would look cooler IMO
