  1. I'd buy a roll of vinyl in your preferred color and a roll of knifeless tape so you can get it exact.
  2. 23 splines are not all equal
  3. If I remember correctly the crossmember-to-frame bolts are M10x1.25 so they would be 17mm.
  4. Phoenix Graphics does awesome decals and they have a HUGE selection of Jeep decals
  5. My local hardware store sells fully-threaded grade 5 bolts but not 8. Never seen fully-threaded grade 8s in stores
  6. I'll be honest, I've never been stung by a wasp and I don't know how. I frequently move occupied nests just by grabbing them with my fingers. One time I was standing next to a guy when I accidentally angered a nest and despite standing between the nest and him, I was not stung while he got hit 3 times. I always move nests or just leave them be if possible.
  7. Haha, grade 5 is sufficient but anything worse is a big no, and 8 is objectively superior.
  8. Too funny, too funny! Nice truck even if they're a little confused haha
  9. The whole plastic trim piece or just the film with the grain graphic on it? The assembly is the back piece and a front piece molded together. Sometimes the front piece (with the graphic printed onto it) separates from the back piece and if that happens it's very easy to just epoxy them back together when the guage trim is removed from the vehicle.
  10. If you have a 30+ gallon tank, it's not original. As for the strainer, I honestly can't remember what orientation it goes on.
  11. This one: Or follow the link I posted earlier to Novak
  12. I think it would fit and mostly work, but your problem is that 87-90 reads 0 - 90 Empty to full but 90+ (-96 for XJs) reads 90 - 0 (backwards). You might be able to fit a 87-90 fuel guage in your cluster and use it, but I haven't heard of anyone doing that and I don't know as much about the HO system as Renix. You can get products that can convert between different sender resistances and stuff but I don't know how good those are. 87 - 90 sending units are all the same except for the diesel. JPSU5 for the diesel and JPSU6 otherwise, so what you posted will work for your application. Although I would personally get the sender without the pump and buy a Bosch pump from RockAuto. I'm pretty sure the MTS units ship with Airtex pumps which aren't very good.
  13. 92 used the larger pilot bearing. The pilot is larger (3/4") and so is the bearing. It will not fit into pre-92 crankshafts. You need a special pilot bushing from Novak, available here: https://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/pilot-bushings/amc-ax15 It's the last one. Edit: this should be the same one that @jdog mentioned, I missed that. They swapped to 3/4" pilot for the 92 model year. I replaced the vacuum connector on the output of the Tcase with this to keep my 4WD light: https://www.quadratec.com/products/52247_01.htm But your new case doesn't Have that hole. Is it a 231J or what?
  14. The diesel 23.5 gallon tank takes a JPSU-5 unit from MTS
  15. I had the same issue as Pete when I put my engine back together except with the oil filter adapter - I must have nicked one of the o rings because it wouldn't leak a drop when off or at idle, but it was essentially spewing oil at higher pressures when hot.
  16. That's because that's a scam site. They scrape ads from Craigslist and other sites in order to get you to contact them. Take note of how the only way to "contact the seller" is by a generic "contact us" page
  17. You can put an old cylinder in a new column, yes. The screw hole is there, just bring the screw from the old column.
  18. Fantastic work! Looks damn near original

Don't forget to change any passwords on other accounts that are the same - they're compromised. Also check here: https://haveibeenpwned.com/
  20. Last time I had to replace one that was stuck I beat it with a massive hammer for 2 hours and then gave up haha

    ouch...

Doctor may be best. Sounds like you broke the part of your knee joint that governs its rotation. Continuing to stress it by walking increases the risk of it not healing right and you'll be stuck with the pain for the rest of your life, or require surgery. A doctor can make sure it's set right, if it is broken. Even if you need to pay cash, last time I broke my elbow I went into a specialty joint clinic and the cost of an xray + sling was barely $150
  22. I would expect they want it to better manage their inventory, but knew that without some sort of looming threat of consequences - even if only implied - their customers most likely wouldn't expend the effort.
  23. If it only moves slowly while the truck is on, I would expect the guage is sticking a bit. If after sitting for extended periods of time you start the truck and the guage moves, I would expect the float. As in, if you fill up the truck and then immediately park it for a few days, when you start the truck would it be over 1/2 or still read empty? If empty, the guage is suspect. If full, the float. Based on your what you're saying, it sounds like the guage to me. It's fairly trivial to remove the guage faceplate, so if I were you I would try removing the plate and spray the guage internals with an electrical contact cleaner. It's an easy place to start that doesnt require replacing or tearing anything significant apart. All you have to do is remove the black dash trim and then there are 4 screws holding the clear plastic. Plus, you would prefer not having to replace an HO sending unit, because they're not readily available.
  24. Well, hey! We're nearly to the point where they may actually be able to sell it.
  25. I polished mine earlier and yes it is definitely aluminum.
