    Yanked?

It was good to see everyone stay cordial and respectful in the thread. Politics in threads always has a potential to go sideways fast. Kudos to everyone for taking the high road.

    Yanked?

It was starting to drift off topic in ways that would lead to "less than cordial" discussion is my guess.
  3. No more than 2. I still have the XJ and the Subaru to park as well.
  4. It's a bungalow which is big enough for me. And a 2 car garage out back. I'll probably put a gate in the fence so I can store one of the project Comanches there along with a trailer. This, of course, assumes the inspection and everything goes well.
  5. When you get the counter offer and sign it...
  6. So I found a decent little house near Cherry Hills in Englewood. Put an offer in. We'll see what happens.
  7. I already found a good one in Englewood. Going to try to make an offer on it tomorrow or Friday.
  8. So the first big hurdle has cleared. I've got my pre-approval lined up so I can start focusing on buying a house. My group just got word that we may move over to the Denver Tech Center, which is 20 miles or so from where I work now (south end of Wadsworth in Littleton) Since I may get moved back, I'm focusing my search between the two. My only requirements are no HOA, a secure place to park a trailer and at least a 2 car garage. The houses aren't cheap but there are a few options in Littleton and Englewood, but also one or two in Castle Rock. The next couple of weeks will be an adventure, that's for sure.
  9. I'm interested in buying a set for my SWB project truck in a couple of months. Whenever you think they are ready, hit me up and I'll buy a set.
  10. Yess!!!!!
  11. I'd say that ground is a little wet...

    Jeep

Not the best photoshop job I've ever seen.
  13. The cooling deficiency due to airflow predates the VB1 recall. They've been talking about the cooling issues since the beginning as far as the diesel in the JL/JT goes.
  14. It's not a recall issue. It's an airflow issue. They even redesigned the JL nose to flow more air and it's still not enough to handle the heat of a turbo diesel.
  15. Saw one today. I was coming down Santa Fe into Castle Rock. It was lifted with some kind of cage in the back. It was a light color but I can't say exactly what. I was in my XJ at the time.

    Buying a house!

Congrats on how smooth it's gone so far. Hopefully the rest goes without any more hiccups. I'm about to go talk to the lender to get pre-approved. Then the hunt starts in earnest.

    Photo Hosting

x2 on having your own website. It's really not that expensive and you are the one who controls the content.
  18. Better get some new brakes. With Pringles, "One you pop, you can't stop."

    Buying a house!

I'll look there. But someone at work brought up a good point. We could be moved back to Waterton. So I'm going to try to split the difference between the two places. Basically north of Highlands Ranch is my target. But if something great pops up outside there I can be flexible.

    Buying a house!

Can you send me your inspector's contact info? I'm going to need a good one. Oh, and congrats.
  21. You might be right. They have gone through several iterations over the years. Some use a tone ring in the diff, some use wheel sensors. But it's rare to see a sensor in the tcase any more.

    Buying a house!

So... they just had a big all-hands meeting. The upshot is that it's likely my office will be moving to the south end of the DTC. That changes the equation just a little...
  23. I have Stinkyfab brackets for my project, both for the long arms and for the track bar. They are serious beef. I'm going to make my own links for my swap to wontons since I may push the axle forward while dealing with brackets not in the stock location.
