  1. if you changed CPS since your last post about not starting proper, make sure CPS wire is not against exhaust manifold, check that vacuum line as Ohm suggests also make sure throttle body and IAC are clean---also does cat converter rattle?
  2. before buying a lot of parts I would drop the pan and see what might have caused the cable to kink, at the dealership I changed a lot of screens on trans with normal use regardless of mileage and have NEVER seen a dirty screen or ever seen one of these trans fail to the point of needing rebuilt. In my opinion THE BEST auto I have ever been around
  3. on a lot of aftermarket rads. that nut is a sheet metal type, should be able to find at JY. still may leak if antifreeze if whats leaking do to build up of debris inside tank. give it a try. replacement rads. are fairly cheep and easy to install
  4. Where do you get one of these? tried to copy and paste didn't work, SEE Ebay item # 392419963971 this a new ebay offer I just came across-trexautoparts111014

  6. is this for lights?
  7. If you do this mount as close to tank as possible, would not recommend drawing through existing pump, check valve may not be needed
  8. any link to those, the ones 88mancheman suggested look pretty good and are US remaned, that's important to me, don't need them immediately as I only have staining on two but figured should start shopping now and am getting leary about Ebay as I am in the middle of trying to resolve a bad purchase recently and am not sure if I can recoup my $
  9. I received a hand made quilt from my good friends-WARM
  10. don't blame you, most tests could be done with a volt/ohm meter just takes a lot longer, these were good systems most times problems were vac or switch stalk related. a lot of times just dump valve on brake pedal got out of adjustment
  11. there were others that did same thing, this was the one I used WAY TOO MUCH $. I just looked some as low as $50 you have to see if they would adapt to AMC
  12. where would be a place to purchase these injectors? I see several types on Ebay but wonder about quality, seem to be too good of a deal and ratings are all over the place. I am considering for my 89 4.0 Renix as I am showing gas stains on two at seam
  13. got ACC vinyl floor from Rock Auto best price I've found, good heavy material. advertises it's molded but just barely, took better part of two days and two guys. got mine in and looks OK. TIP remove both shifters if 4x4 and get it tucked under heater before cutting ANYTHING.their instructions say to start in rear and work forward, put it all in especially up front as bulges occur next to gas pedal, when laid out the only real molded part was at seat belt anchors by B pillars and when that was in place the front looked like crap and front is what you look at, mine is in and looks OK in front but still have to deal with issues behind bench seat when it warms up. I'm won't say not to get but be prepared for lots of work, budget enough time-good luck
  14. Wanted to get interior done before posting pics Thanks

  16. found it on ebay, way too much $ but thats it ,worked well
  17. I worked on a bunch of these in the past you test everything around the controller if all checks out replace yellow controller, we did have an LED tester that plugged into harness in place of controller that showed function of switches-inputs made it fairly easy, could probably find on Ebay I wouldn't turn screws on controller, they are factory set and are VERY touchy
  18. a lot of times its just vac. related make sure all lines to vac.bottle behind front bumper are intact
  19. credit card keys in case you got locked out, came with high end Chryslers ,they came coded, worked OK but pretty much one shot, don't know how you would cut them on card
  20. should pull straight out
  21. Merry Christmas to all at CC
