  1. But it still has a good Chrome 10 slot grille... :grrrr: I'd still like to get some parts off of it...
  2. Your painter can PAINT! BEAUTIFUL!
  3. Don't you have enough projects down there already? :rotfl2:

    Who did I see???

That was me, I went home to Michigan last weekend. I'll be rolling through there again in two weeks for Easter weekend. I bring I-39 south from Rockford to I-80 and then head east to Joliet and north on I-94. Adds miles to the trip but at least I avoid Chicago traffic/tolls this way. Also much easier on the truck when I keep it rolling along. Nice to "meet" you. We'll be all meeting up in Rockford for a Junkyard run in April, be great if you could make it...viewtopic.php?f=18&t=21941 :wavey:
  5. Glad you didn't get in the accident with the truck!
  6. I'd be all about it, but I don't even have a garage to call my own in this state, still renting til I find a place. Storing at Correy's is cool with me, thats plenty close that I could routinely show up for the days we work on it. A heated garage would be nice though for the winter months... Another question, will we have time to throw at it? I already keep myself plenty busy as it is with my own MJs...

    Crusher Time

a day late and a dollar short. I'm always looking for those style fender badges. Display them proudly and if you find yourself ever wanting to re-sell them please keep me in mind! If you scrap, those cab corners and rocker panels will bring good money. There is ALWAYS someone up here looking for them!
  8. ...yes this is true. But, to be legally correct, it has to be sold to someone...
  9. So theoretically if enough people throw some cash at this, $500 should be easy to come up with. I'll be the first to pitch in $25. Who's name goes on the title? I vote for Pete, but that might be an issue considering its in Wisconsin... :hmm:
  10. This is coming together soooo nicely!
  11. I'm in for all the help, wrenching time and parts I can provide. Lets do this!
  12. Keep me in mind for all of the AC delete parts you get from it. I'll happily give you all of the AC stuff I have left in return for them. Most of it was junk, I've got a few things left that I haven't thrown away yet though.
  13. From the looks of the upper radiator hose, it had AC at one point in time... yes/no? Are you looking to add AC if it doesn't have the system installed (compressor is obviously missing)?
  14. Nice snag Rob! Stick with the Renix, it will treat you well if you give it a chance!

    2012 AMX concept

    Come to Poppa! 8)
  16. The ground needs to be connected that goes to your fuel pump. If you jumper the big black (I think) wire from the harness to the frame, your fuel pump should work then.
  17. ...but "cash for clunkers" was such a GOOD idea!!!! :wall: :wall: :wall:
  18. Yah, I can get to it when I have the chance, which may be awhile...
  19. There won't be much XJ left once you are done with all of this Roger...
  20. Some more things came in the mail last week: I'm going to try and re-use the stock yoke by drilling out the tapped holes to let the U-bolts in. I also had the chance to paint the inner shafts today - nice weather here. The outers will be painted soon too, just didn't have the space to do them at today. New U-Joints will be going in the shafts soon.
  21. We had a great day today outside so I resumed the grinding and painting process on the drivers side of the bed. Ground out all the rusty spots and shot them with two coats of primer and a topcoat of enamel. Came out pretty nice when you stand back to look at it. Slowly but surely this one is coming around. Still have to fix that Heater system though, gotta get the parts to do it first.
  22. Very Nice. Is it just me or do you guys also think that a Comanche is kinda an odd tow behind your motor home vehicle? My grandparents did that way back when too with a Honda car.
  23. Wire on the exhaust hanger... been there many times. :clapping:
  24. :needpics:  :clapping:
  25. Hey Joe, I've got a spare header panel for that Wagoneer front end. Pat gave it to me and I have no use for it. It's not in the best of shape, but I'll set it aside for the next time I see you.
