  1. Have a splendid day of your birth!
  2. This is the front bumper that I designed the rear bumper to "match" - Still available from JCR Offroad: http://www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/mer ... y_Code=MJB I'm working on the drawings of the parts right now, should still get them out by mid-late January. The D-Ring tabs are made out of 3/4" steel, you can buy them as builder parts here (they come in twos): http://www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/mer ... y_Code=DPL
  3. Sounds like a blast, thanks for letting us all know.
  4. I've never done a replacement of the bushings, but I've taken them apart with screwdrivers before. They pop in and out, I would assume that they can be changed out easily, In fact I would guess that getting the linkage off of the body and trans is going to be harder for you than changing the bushings.
  5. It rubs. I've got lots of 1/8" deep slices in my tires from the tires being forced into the fenders. The rear is the worst, but I've decided long ago that I won't cut the steel to solve the problem, rather I'll find some other solution. Still working on that, with how I drive it and the few times that I flex it out and get in that situation though, its no big deal to me now. I did bolt some hockey pucks on the front axle to help with the bump-stops, the rear is still the stock setup.
  6. I like the wheels, they look ALOT like mine! Nice ride too!

    Really cool Jim!

    Jeep Cargo Mat

Slice the sides off and put it in the back of the TJ.
  9. I never looked at it that well. I just noticed that it had a piece of bolt stock on there for an antenna and I started giving him a hard time about it right away. Post up some pics. If you really want to mess with it, see if you can get the bolt stock off and then get a good shot of the base. Taking that silicone off will probably improve it as it sits.
  10. Sounds good. We'll see what it looks like and go from there. I gave Rob crap about that antenna back in the day, he should have fixed it before he sold it to you. Don't let him say otherwise...
  11. PM sent.

    LKQ Trip?

Dat will work. As long as we wait until Feb, I'll be able to drive the '90. I should be able to be there sometime after noon.
  13. Do you need just the antenna or will you need the base and post as well? I've got lots of antennas, no need to buy one of those. - Brent

    LKQ Trip?

So is there a set date for the LKQ run? In about a month I will be all set to tag along, not going to be able to do much of anything though except walk around. I'm probably going to be on the prowl for some parts in a few months.
  15. Yah, keep up the good work. This truck is turning out very nice!

    Jeep Trailer

    Yes, Very nice job!
  17. Have you found a set of these yet? I've got a good set of brackets, they are a little rusty but they will wire brush up nice and clean. They are about half surface rust and half paint. All of the rust is surface rust, there is no deep pitting or rust through. They can be yours for $50 shipped. I take cash, check or money order. I can get pics if you would like. - Brent
  18. I've got three sets of these Rubber Steps. They are all in good to great shape, but none are of the NOS level. I don't know how perfect of a set you are looking for? I've never had good luck with the end caps, don't have any of those for you. I'd sell the best set of the rubber steps I have to you for $40 shipped? I take cash, check or money order. I can get pics of the set if you would like? - Brent
  19. What snail mail address would you like payments sent to?
  20. Big Thanks to Everyone for the nice comments. I'm very happy with how the truck turned out so far and I'm even happier that I found CC from the get go way back when this project started. I've learned so much from being involved here and I've met lots of good people along the way. It's taken me quite a bit of time and money to get it to how it is now. To sell it at this point would be a huge loss, I could never replace it with the amount of time and money that I've put into it, and no-one would pay me the amount of money that it is worth to me. Trading really isn't an option either, I've got another stock MJ that gets the tap for all of the parts running and daily driving. So I guess I'll have to keep it. ;)
  21. Glad to see those lights went to such a deserving truck! Looks Great
  22. Yah, that happened to me when I did mine too. I've been running the stock length studs on my axle shafts ever since I did the conversion. I probably should lengthen them...
  23. Yes, all set. Thank You!
