  1. Yes. When completed it will have a pickup bed like a standard 1/2 ton.
  2. It should! And the 6.0 is out of a 2009, so it has about 350hp.

  4. We hope so! We made more patches today to connect the 1/2 ton fender to the stock COE fender.
  5. Here is our family project that has been around for about 15 years. My dad has cut the cab and made it a crew cab using 3 other cabs. It is also on a 2001 2500hd std cab long bed frame. Yesterday, we closed up the front wheel wells because he wants 1/2 ton rear fenders. This way the wheel wells will match.
  6. We have been working on the front fenders on my dads 53 Chevy COE project. We we closed up the front wheel well so it will match the back.
  7. Weld em shut and paint over it.
  8. I agree. I love how how you are putting a bunch of nice, modern creature comforts in the old shell. It should make for a very nice rig.
  9. I agree, nobody is protesting, but you aren’t allowed to be in a group of greater than 10 people here in WI.

  20. Ok. Thank you. I knew they were rare up in WI, but I want sure about other places.
  21. My 13 year old brother really wants a Jeep J-Truck. He has about $1200 to spend. He wants a project with minimal rust. The closer to Wisconsin the better, but we also have contacts in Phoenix AZ and Oregon that could help us arrange transportation. Lets see see what you all have got!
  22. Welcome to the club. As I’m sure you know by now, add it to the registry and check under the floors for rust. Also, your grille is upside down. What do do you plan on doing to the truck? @Pete M, can you move this so it’s with the other build threads?
  23. Today I tore apart my Cherokee 3(or 5)in lift springs to make a bastard pack to lift the rear end of the truck a little.
  24. Good. Start em young. I was always helping my dad work on his cars and I was able to build this going into Sophomore year.
