  1. No not at all. Just need the harness and it will know AC is there when it senses the load on the engine.
  2. I dont. It was a NOS plug n play wiring harness. It will be for the 4.0L. Many have parted out Renix jeeps and shouldnt have an issue finding such as well. Yes. You need the AC deck, wiring harness for said deck, vac harness for said deck and an HVAC air box. Check out the 88 electrical manual in the DIY.
  3. Ok had to make sure. From what I connected, mine was to the compressor, the dryer pressure switch, relay and ground as I have a 2.5L. 4.0L with AC is a lot easier to find and should be able to find the harness that plugs in there.
  4. Interesting failure. I’ve had the regulator fail but not the speed sensor. How did you test the sensor out of curiosity?
  5. It’s not one of the kits I made is it? Actually here’s an easy way for me to know. Look at the servo, is the connector to the servo round or rectangle?
  6. Are you working with a 4.0L or 2.5L?
  7. Yeah there is. Well more for the 2.5L as there was numerous customer reports about the idle being rough at 750rpm than most like and so there was a special harness made that put a resistor in place to act like a load on the engine basically simulating having an AC. Which I’ll have to use in conjunction with my AC on my 84 XJ
  8. I probably have one I could spare. Which connector style? Bullet or the small metri-pack? I’ll take your old one as a core if I have one.
  9. Yes that’s the AC wiring that’s capped off.
  10. Ill have to look in my mopar performance catalog. It’s floating around somewhere on here as well.
  11. The only upgraded ECU is 89-90 There was a performance ECU offered for a short bit.
  12. Yes. Everyone who registers their MJ gets a build thread. I was one of the people who used to be able to get these for everyone but can not any more. There are two other members who still can provide a build sheet to everyone.
  13. My mopar units won’t sit flush either. There’s units out there that have a built in inlet and there’s some that don’t. I’ve always despised using the built in one as my MJ does not have that set up, my XJ might though but to each is there own on which style they want to use.
  14. I can’t help but feel, if there was someone who was good with editing or making ROMs, that the Renix system could be modified that way for a stroker. That being said, if the ROM from the performance ECU was dumped, it could be burned to a new ROM and put into the board of a standard ECU. Just my technical 2cents.
  15. It’s still standard. I didn’t have to change mine out when I added AC
  16. I know we’re probably looking at me, but I have nothin. I have a mopar pump on mine. I used I think an airtex years ago and it was fine. No issues with it.
  17. Thanks! Shame it all wasnt me.
  18. Nope and vinegar is dirt cheap still….I think.
  19. Try having the lenses soak in vinegar. Vinegar has helped clear the fog off of glass cups, I’d give it a try on those.
  20. Have you tried contacting CR Lawrence? Maybe they have a lead or something.
  21. Super glue and baking soda creates an instant hardener. Which is nice for when you want it to dry fast.
  22. Oh shoot I forgot I had this haha. I found and got one installed. Thanks though!
  23. Of course and no problem!
