  1. Finally got to test the car with the changes, it's horrible to drive on the round at 60mph ish. Need to adjust the flow to the steering assist thing
  2. So I finally went ahead and mounted the radiator in the rear instead. Looks like the cage actually helps channel the air downwards, which is a nice bonus I also cycled the suspension to make sure nothing rubs in the rear after moving the axle forward. Next step is figuring out some kind of bed cover. I’m currently leaning towards diamond plate aluminum. Also this is before and after moving the axle, the wheel wells are bigger now to make room for the 40's and the 42's I will switch to later.
  3. You are correct, that line only controls the pressure. the toyota version of the AW4 had an electrical thingie instead of a wire that we have. "kickdown" comes from the TPS sensor I keep my pressure wire thing ziptied to about 70%. But I don't use the TCU for my aw4.
  4. Nooo damn you are the first person to agree with me
  5. Ahh I been told this alot haha, guess I will buy some more orange paint and paint it the same for now then. Thanks
  6. Whats the diameter of those pipes to the intercooler?
  7. I think the proportions looks better like this, before it looked stretched. Steering seems to work alright, abit scary on the road. Maybe too much angle on the joints? I also need to repaint the car because of all the dents and crap. Not sure I want it orange anymore. I have alot of TGB11/13 paint but don't know what I think about it AI image:
  8. The axle is now correctly positioned. The remaining work is to cut and relocate the wheel arch and fill in the area behind it.
  9. And here we go… I should have done this from the start instead of just cutting the rear of the bed. I’m moving the rear axle forward by 17.5 cm to match a shortbed wheelbase. When I cut the bed, it ended up with shortbed dimensions, so now I also need to move the wheel opening forward and fill in the section behind it.
  10. I hope it won't be any problem But it's a slow side project, just decided on gears instead of chain in them so it has to be redone. Printed a working model in 1:1 size with a chain and that worked. But finding a chain was hard...
  11. This weekend my project on moving the rear axle forwards abit so I get the same wheelbase as a shortbed will start. also bought a new steering hydro assist thing, found the part from a tractor.
  12. After sweden offroad tour, my dad with his 35's did not like driving with me He has started to prototype dana30 bolt on portals because of it now
  13. Had to extend my front fenders, but still got alot of trimming left to do. Will join in on sweden offroad tour 3 days late
