  1. List is at $76.45. Says its for 87 4.0L and it is also listed for the 2.5L, I'm sure it would work anyways. There is another part number. 3300476, but there are 18 left across the U.S. List is $48.60. $76 is a bit much but I'd rather pay for quality than the quantity on this part.
  2. That is not true at all. Just because the part was discontinued from production does not mean that any dealer may or may not have it. Vintage parts right now has 61 CPS's for the 4.0L that a dealer can purchase to sell. All he has to do is go up to a counter man and ask him to order it from vintage or from any other dealer that has it and within a week he will have the part. It does not hurt to venture to the dealer every once in a while and ask.

  4. It is stupid expensive. Right now. Until more are made.
  5. Just want to put it out there now just in case we all try to commit blasphemy with JT parts. Here is the spare tire winch: This is a new and exclusive design to the JT. It does not fit on any other Chrysler trucks.
  6. Went down that route too. Managed to get a NOS one for a XJ. you could probably get away with getting a TJ or a JK cover.
  7. If you still have the carrier, I recommend finding another one like a GM one and cut the old hoist out and use the brackets to fit a new one in place. That's what I did, but never really showed the final product
  8. I’ll say that Chrysler still has the Ujoints still available buuuuut please don’t run to your local dealer and buy them. You could get spicer joints for cheaper than Chrysler’s. $84 is list price on them.
  9. That’s stock. My dash and interior panels and seat is the same way. Probably to contrast how much grey is inside.
  10. Really? I thought you would’ve already had a set up with your love of the old AMC radios. Course if it’s not Jeep parts, it’s records is where the money is going.
  11. Dang. A reel-to-reel. I think that equipment is about as rare as a victrola. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such except for an old computer before. Modern turn tables on the cheap end are cheap for a reason, just like our cheap Jeep parts. But there are really stupid good turntables and really high mind bottling prices attached to them. And it’s not even a full set up either, just the turn table usually. You can get original decent vintage hardware at your local thrift store but most people won’t even bother restoring old tech like that.
  12. Neat. Never heard of them. But that makes me wonder though, would they have cataloguing for 78’s?
  13. I think that’s what he means. None of Jeeps lines are hard. They are rubber.
  14. Do any of you guys use discogs to catalogue your collection/rescue ward?
  15. The golden era of records. Theres a lot of good albums and compilations and singles that came from the 60’s.
  16. I don't know the model of my Panasonic. It’s a tuner, phonograph, cassette and auxiliary and it plays pretty well. Funny you mention that exact Marty Robbins album as I had just found that at goodwill the other day. As far as the Beatles, I don’t like the post ‘67 stuff meaning the white album( I get so much hate for not liking that album) but their pre ‘67 meaning Revolver down to Please Please Me is what I enjoy if their.
  17. Wes, send him a message. Better chance he will see the email about the AC parts.
  18. Smokey I agree with you there, it does aggravate me that vinyls have made a come back, so for me finding someone else’s collection of goodies is tough to come across, unless it’s a collection of 10” Wahoo that sounds like a fun time, I’ve had thoughts about being a DJ at the only oldies station here in AZ.
  19. I always see plenty of those component turn tables and they always look beat to hell which is sad. They make great cleaning stations though.
  20. Really? That’s sucks. I have two turntables. One is a portable Crossley which plays alright for $80 if you are interested in that route. And I have an old Panasonic turn table from the 80’s(has a quartz display) that I found at goodwill that only does 7” and 12”. I got it for a steal for $7 and all it needed was a new needle. I actually really love that turn table. But there’s some decent ones floating around
  21. I like that. Rescue them, that’s a good one. Just like how I rescue the old 78’s Most of my favorite albums are in the 50’s and 60’s and some into the 70’s as unfortunate rereleases. Shame.

    Records

Any body on here have a record collection? None of those new fangled cassettes or CDs, just the old fashioned stuff like 45s(7in), 33 1/3s(12in) and 78s(10in).
  23. Ha!! That’s hell of a drive to tell ya the truth. Course I really do want to meet as many of the members as I can. I did just do a 300 mile round trip this past weekend, so I could do it, I just need time off from work. Oddly enough I was just in Tennessee a couple weeks ago for the fourth. But I was in Knoxville apparently about the same time Pete was on his run.
  24. I think your western brethren would have a hard time with a central location.
  25. No problem. I might take it off their hands one day.
