  1. Yup. Been studying that thing like a text book. Damn paycheck. Going from hourly to salary sucks for that little bit
  2. Weird. Chrysler only shows one part number. You can actually look up the numbers on the lens and get that exact lamp assembly. But it is still long gone.
  3. I mean the black handle variant in metal.
  4. https://jeepair.com/compressor-kits/1987-1990-cherokee-compressor-kit-603.html XJ and MJ kit they offer.
  5. What’s weird is the salvage yard I frequent has several XJs with the chrome handles and they are still on the doors. Which reminds me I should see if they have metal ones.
  6. No. I was talking about the Evaporators. My bad for not making that clear enough. I am sure as hell don't know who made them then. Maybe who ever makes the XJ lights had to have worked with AMC to make the MJ lights.
  7. AMC part number Which side Possible mold number Revision Possible manufacturer number month and year part was produced Mold section for reverse light Mold section for brake/running/turn signal Possible mold number for lens Reason why to like modern parts, the manufacturer is allowed to have their name on the part. Like the modern MoPar evaps. The company Behr down in Mexico makes them.
  8. If someone doesn’t beat me to it in the next thirty I will look at my original set at home and record all the numbers I see.
  9. Call Chrysler and ask, but I doubt they will relinquish that info to you. Usually the back of the housing will say who or what from the numbers. There is all sorts of stampings and words on the taillight that can help you identify the manufacture, if not then we will just need to make a new mold and chances are the company won’t have the mold. Chrysler dropped almost all support for the MJ as soon as they could. Despite Chrysler saying the taillights were discontinued back in ‘07 I’m willing to bet they were not available after ‘05
  10. That's the way to do it.
  11. Oh where to start? I know I'm young and have that awful habit of listening to select songs from an album but I enjoy listening to a full album. I also posted a question about records a while back if you caught that one. But that's a tough call as I have a few favorite albums. But I think my top favorite would have to be Band on the Run by Paul McCartney and Wings 1973.
  12. Not to kill the joy tooo much but I just read a couple articles about Disney and Star Wars(really hate Disney for buying Star Wars)but I found it hilarious when the CEO of Disney admitted that they have no idea what they are doing with Star Wars as they reported that galaxy's edge became a flop at Disneyland. But hey, I have heard that it should be something to go see once. Just the merch costs more than a set of MJ tail lights. Have fun!
  13. I don't really quite know where to put this idea. It's a neat concept that I think would go really well with a black Comanche with gold pioneer stripes. Similar to the silver stripes but the gold idea came from the one Comanche that jdog snagged this from.

  16. Well the vacuum lines on top of the valve cover looks wrong. 86's are a different animal but one is supposed to go to the air box and the other goes to the throttle body. Everyone will tell you to check your manifold bolts as well.
  17. Yeah the parts catalogue showed both MJ and Durango.
  18. Yeah, those a looking a little caked. Should be quick clean or replace. But it seems they still did their job as there was oil on your rockers.

  21. While we are at it we should demand legacy part support for our trucks.
  22. Thanks guys! Really proud of how that one turned out. Everything is coming together. Snagged a few more pieces from that engine and restored them, all pieces are finished. The cooling system inside of that other motor is ridiculously clean but the radiator was the only thing to show signs of calcium build up. Still cleaning that damn thing. Now I just need to go buy Jeepairs kit when I get more money. Maybe might take next weekend and tear out the dash and install everything on the inside.
  23. Damn. Well they are accessories after all.
  24. Will do. It looks like the Jeepair kit has a compressor with the proper fittings for R134a so I won't need much from this compressor I have now. I guess I could go to AMC salvage and literally take what ever evap is still sitting in their Jeeps as spares. And there is a lot of them still sitting with the air boxes intact.
