They were, that was probably the style or type of battery used kinda like how AGM and wet batteries are what we have now. Honestly its a shot in the dark, I am by far not a battery expert by any means.

Actually I am almost certain the battery codes are right. Chrysler doesn't use that battery type anymore and usually Chryslers new battery codes mention the Amps the battery puts out.

Yeah...aint that the truth. Some parts still hide at dealers and at vintage. When that one member got a NOS rear bumper for his truck a while back just from having no bumper on his truck gives me hope theres still NOS parts laying around in peoples possessions.
