Wow. One left as NOS at a dealer and they list out at $27

What is the part number? I could probably look them up and see if they are still around

Truth be told that's what I did to the original large knob, dash bezel and vents. It doesn't look terrible either! If anything no one would know the difference.

Whats bad is these trucks are literally hidden in the most remote areas too. I can tell yall right know where a black one is in the middle of Nevada just sitting in someone's yard with about 20 truck camper shells on other peoples properties. So MJ's are out there, they are just hidden.

Not often. Besides the two members I’ve met from here I see about two to five a year. Sometimes it’s the same MJ I have seen once before.

You know everyone is gonna want to see those instructions.

Lol. Sadly the big knob was the last one in existence and I have 4 more of the small ones left. If I knew how to chrome I would get them produced and chrome them.

Yes they are welded underneath and to tow the vehicle behind a motor home or something like that.

Alrighty @Minuit. These are for you. NOS radio knobs. There. Nice and shiny.

Lol that too!

No. 10 aggravates me. We all know why it was discontinued. The damn Dakota.

Top one is a late 88-90 model due to not having the AMC logo.

Lol. New Old Stock.

This is what I have. The latest and greatest version of that tow eye. I have a pair of them. Supposedly these are found on TJs as well

Weird!! Unless that's what it was supposed to start out as then it got longer for the hidden winch kits.

Is that the 52000747 number? It translates into the two hook bracket.

Maybe the vent valves on top the tank then? My smell went away sometime after I changed those.

Oh yeah. It’s very common. We probably stock about 10 of each side for the smaller one. The bigger one we stock about 5 and those usually get sold to a service RO. When I worked in shipping people were always buying those things from our website. They just fly off when they are driving. Chrysler should’ve learned from AMC and did the same thing as to how our vent covers are clipped on.

If only I could show you how often we sell these damn appliqués

I will have to! I don't have a picture of them at the moment but what I can describe them as is loops with holes for mounting. They don't look like what the catalogue shows.

I have a set of those as NOS!! They will not mount in conjunction with the hooks. They could but they might collide with the hook and be rendered useless. They also supersede to 52059191AA

Looks like a good score!

Lol! I even tried the first latch on the nozzle to slow down the flow rate and it still did it. Guess I could just stand there and hold it until it fills up. But I just can't imagine this being a huge issue back then.

Well that's one possibility I will check for this weekend. Ill probably remove the filler assembly anyways to clean it up. Any other possibilities?

That is correct. I have heard they can kink but I have removed the tank only once(during the get her running phase) and it has always done such. Maybe I did kink the vent line?
