  1. I forgot. The coolant overflow tank is unique, but the cap is hard to find despite the bottle being made in the aftermarket.
  2. Brackets are unique, hoses kinda are unique as I have seen there doesnt seem to be a consistent hose used, but they can easily be remade(by o'reillys or whom ever is preferred) if someone had them in their possession. Compressor is not unique.
  3. Air cleaner up to the bonnet. The hose is kinda irreplaceable if it falls apart and the air box is different from the Renix 4.0L. Valve cover if it sports the AMC logo on it. Otherwise dasbulliwagen covered the other stuff unless you pull the whole exhaust/intake. Optional can be the PS stuff.
  4. The ZJ gear box upgrade should be labeled as dangerous lol. I had a blast only turning half the wheel for a full turn. This is a fantastic upgrade! I spent about an hour driving around, getting the steering wheel as straight as I could get it and got comfortable with how she feels and got damn does it feel like I'm driving a new truck!
  5. Here ya go:
  6. She looks good to me!
  7. Thats what we call here in the wild west "quick on the draw", lol.
  8. Yeah I can tell you whats unique to the 2.5L and whats not.

  10. Id buy the whole damn engine bay if I could.
  11. Gear box is out, NOS PS line installed. Now to let all the components soak before reinstalling them, just to not infect a new gear box with old fluid residue.
  12. Perfect.
  13. When all you want to do is have better steering but nothing is going your way is a metric ton of fun!! First, no air compressor, it blew its head gasket. Barrowed my neighbors compressor to use the impact gun to break the nut loose on the pitman arm, done. Go to O'reilly, rent a busted tool that you had no idea was bent up from the last person until you try to remove the arm, done. Buy new puller and successfully removed arm. Now its time to eat while I have the oil draining from the gear box and pipe. On will go a NOS hose and obviously the rebuilt ZJ box. I have another hose I can put on but I don't think I have the right hose clamps. On the bright side, the notorious spacer isnt broke and neither is the frame.
  14. Oh. thats really really damn cool. I was expecting a sticker, not a whole metal plate. And 40 ounces of R12, neat.
  15. Not bad and clearly was worth a shot. The old AMC books mention a lot that the ECU should be considered very reliable and should be the last thing on the list to test and replace.
  16. Huh, I mustve miss you quoting me. Glad it turned out to be the injector holding you up, that would've been the next guess as another member went through a whole ordeal testing the ECU and other sensors before getting a new injector.
  17. Let the gear box swap begin. Once thats done, I hope to get over to the T-bird and see if she will fire off with new plug wires.

  19. HAHAHAHA! Theres a Ford and Chrysler dealer in Wickenburg, though small, id imagine their parts is rough to organize. I did an inventory for a ford dealer once, very confusing part numbers. I think JMO works at a multi brand dealer. Actually I think Chrysler and GM have the best part number system(until you get into Chrylsers 1A______AA and the likes part numbers.)
  20. I like how they sold one GM car and the rest of what they sold was AMC. Mustve made finding parts really easy like bolts and fastners.
  21. Yeah Chrome has autocorrect too. Actually I think all browsers except this new version of edge has autocorrect. You should be able to turn it off in browser settings. Now back to the dealer window sticker.
