nos seatback cover in sand
eaglescout526 replied to Pete M's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
Yes. That tan will fit MJs. -
You can get away with swapping your oils and be fine for the conversion. That being said it wouldnt hurt to replace the compressor but you need a Renix era sanden compressor where the mounting flanges have the holes pointing towards the front and rear of the engine bay vs the HO ones where the compressor sits on the mounts and the bolts drop down and bolt in.
-
Big difference. What compressor mount are you running? Also if you get one with mineral oil still in it, you can drain it and put in the right PAG oil
-
Hehe how did I know. I think both are in different locations though but I’ll look.
-
Are you sure? They are based out here in chandler.

I will order the decals next week. The only thing that can not be had new is the pioneer decal.
-
I’m sure they could.
-
Two of these kits for a left side long bed left. If I order this I can send it to Phoenix graphics and have them copy it.

That is original factory approved equipment. Made by pendaliner back in the day.

So this guy is the reason why the LA depot keeps charging my work for missing cages and totes haha.

Project: “Comanche Limited”
eaglescout526 replied to jpnjake's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Most likely a parts unit where the buttons are in great shape to replace the buttons. But that would be a cool thing to see in an MJ where it’s still that factory style radio scheme. -
Pretty much. It’s a good find and I hope they sell the gate before someone takes it for free down there.
-
Yeah. It’s just best to say if your travels take you to either, just keep going.

Apache Junction.

Annnnnd that tailgate will stay there. Casa grand. Bout as bad as AJ.
-
I forgot to update this and I don’t have the pic but the manifold looks damn good. I’ll have to take a pic of it as I took it back to the car. I still need to get parts for it but that’ll come with time. I think next up will be to replace the head gaskets.

What? No interior pics?

Kill switch DIY sticky?

I think your best bet is to get some ideas and do one of them. Not to think like a thief but if you think like most, they’re dumb and want quick and easy. If they’re smart and they know what they’re stealing, a Google search of “Comanche kill switch” could easily point them to here about a write up. -
