  1. It looks really bad, but the springs still look good, and it’s really on the foam backing on the material that makes it look terrible. I haven’t completely decided if I want to try to go with a factory black cloth style or just something solid black or what, but I think I’ve made my mind up that it’s getting black cloth and not vinyl. 2. I’d love to let people drive my truck/ teach some friends driving stick, but whenever it stalls it doesn’t want to start back. If I turn it off with the key it’ll start back no problem at all. If it stalls it will turn like half a turn, then I hit the key again and it’ll turn half a turn, then the next time it’ll start typically. Sometimes it’ll take one more try before it’ll spin over and it starts right up, but it’s just strange it only happens after stalling. No other conditions have made it act this way. 3. I have a half Comanche you can see in the for sale section of the classifieds. Cab corners, rockers, and the bed mounts gone. Hopefully I don’t have to work tomorrow and I’m going to be taking it to the scrap yard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I don’t remember if I posted here, but my Comanche was leaking fuel around the return line. The joint where it passed through the plate had cracked. Well the JB fix gave out so I bought a MTS sender and it came in today and I installed it. What a pain in the butt. My factory unit has a ring at the top and bottom that support the fuel pump so I thought they had sent me the wrong sender because there’s no top ring. The top of the fuel pump is only supported by the hose. Then I put it in and got the lock ring and o ring perfect first try. Awesome pack up the tools and go home! Nope. Go to crank it and it just cranks and won’t start. So I think dang maybe I yanked a wire when putting the sender in. Pull it back out and everything is right. So then I check the wires in the tank and the colors match. Went and grabbed my old sender and the positive and negative on the MTS sender are swapped. So dang had to get my connector tool and swap the pins. Go and find what blew when the fuel pump was trying to send power straight to ground. Found what blew, awesome pump works. Go to put it back in and the stupid cheesy flimsy lock ring bent and the tabs got all wonky and fought it into place (hopefully it’s right) should’ve used my old lock ring, but at that point I was tired and it was dark. I haven’t put gas in it yet because it took like two hours longer than it should have because I had to redo the crap and trace stuff. Hopefully it doesn’t leak anymore, but I’m not super thrilled with it honestly. I’d add pictures right now, but my tapatalk limit is reached and I don’t feel like dealing with signing in on safari right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I’ve seen quite a few Comanche emblems in varying condition on eBay recently. Might want to check there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. They aren’t mine to sell unfortunately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. All these parts are really just a dime a dozen. They’re practically everywhere Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’m curious what he’s planning to use for the final product because most 3D printed things either won’t handle the heat, won’t handle the UV or won’t handle either from my experience messing with 3D printed prototype things Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It’s a long shot, but does anyone have one they bought and never ended up using or put it in and hated it so they ditched it? Just having a hard time spending the money for new. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Started pulling the motor out again, just going to take it to a shop and tell them to fix whatever the issue. I’m tired of fooling with it and I just want to drive the thing again. Finally found a use for the spare tires I have in the shed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Finally found a bench seat with headrests, now I just need to get it reupholstered and put it in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I have this, but have no clue if it’s driver or passenger side. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I have some black ones. A little wax on them, but it should come right off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I recently acquired some tow hooks, but they’re missing these braces. Does anyone happen to have the braces laying around for some reason? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I kinda DIYed one, but I think the factory style one looks better Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Has anyone seen one of these in person? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Tail lights that bolt in you’re only going to find used or NOS and that’s why the prices are high. Otherwise people have hacked in all kinds of tail lights to get by Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I know where one is, but it may be a week or two before I could get there to get it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Ran it without the valve cover on and it has one absolute Geyser Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Well the trucker didn’t last, out a firestik on it and that’s what it’s going to have. Anyway now that that’s concluded. It runs like crap and sounds terrible. I can’t figure out the issue and it’s been parked for months. Finally put some spark plugs back in it to make a video of the sound. If anyone has any ideas let me know. 21. Where are you located? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yeah, that’s the way it looks. It does seem like it’s getting harder and harder to find nice lights for a reasonable price. I’m kicking myself for not getting a nicer pair of lights when they were cheaper and easier to find. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Still looking if anyone finds one let me know please. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Seems all the tail lights on eBay are really high priced right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I figured that would probably be the answer I would get. I’ve pulled the rubber trim on the back window before and put it back without any trouble so I was hoping even though it is supposed to be installed with the window I could get it in without replacing the windshield.
