I am super excited Phoenix graphics is now offering the xls "4x4" decals. Ive been trying to locate these since i bought my truck. My boss believes the only engine thay belongs in a jeep is a 4.0. He 4.0 swapped his m715 and even helped a quy 4.0 swap an old rolls royce limo. He was looking to 4.0 swap a jk and it appeared the nose of the jk was to short for the 4.0.

Yup its an steel bar with a bolt though frame and contol arm. Thia thing had a stock setup and sway bar. It notnlike it needed suspension limiting.You wouldnt belive the stuff we see. People up here love to fill their rotted out vehicles with great stuff expansion foam.

Its a documentry so it has interviews from people in the town and law enforcment. I vaguely remeber whenthis happend and seeing it on the news briefly but my grandfather passed away that same day back in2004 (June 4th) so i wasnt really paying attention when it was on tv. What i like about the doc. Is that it shows both sides of the story and remains nuetral. It just presents facts.. It just hit me hard because this guy could have been any one of us...you never know what people are going through in their personal lives.

My wife and i just got done watching the documentry "Tread." I'm not in any way supporing or condoning the actions portrayed in this movie. (Very sad what happened to this guy mentally) however it was very interesting and well made. It starts off rather slow but my wife and i were in the edge of our seats for the last half hour. Got the turbines mounted on my bfgs. I need to get this slave hooked back up and thr trans put back up so i can get it turned around. My garage is a mess from all the wet sanding and wood burning from the winter. Really need a nice day to get the truck out and re organize the garage. I put the flares back on (temporarily) as well as the b pillar vent to get an idea.

I think i read online somewhere that hypothetically if you buy a brand new truck and have the bed sprayed with genuine line-x bedliner it actually increases the value but ita only with line-x not some crappy knock off. This is going buy NADA value i guess.

The 4.0 thrives on abuse and neglect.. I'm at 330k on my 4.0. Dailyndriver xj and ive used "yard sale" (2 year old half of 5 quart jug for 25 cents) oil in it before.

Ive always liked those things. From the videos ive watched on them the rear axle issues plauged toyota for years and ultimately lead them to stop supplying trucks to rv outfitters...altough this one does appear to have the upgraded rear end. Neat truck!

He continues to fix up old xjs and sells them on the side as a hobby so he always stopping in for parts. I hope to write an article for the build threads on this truck and get some more in depth photos before he sells it.

Tonights project.. I heard there is supposed to be a plastic piece on the end of the slave rod...i didnt see one on the one i took out.. Althought My clutch was working fine before it started leaking. Does any know were i can source one?
