bicycle shops around here always have tons out by the curb.

thanks for the inspiration almost done! i need a new hood latch one is broken but i found all the same color pieces. in the middle of swapping the front axle (its bent).

yes i would have been charged with leaving a scene of an accident and insurance likes a police report. what you cat see is behind that green fence is a huge plant that makes electrical wire it runs 24/7 even on christmas. the machines run so hot that they keep the huge bay doors open to let in cool air. a bunch of workers saw it happen.

Everyone please be safe out there. This entire road was ice. cop responding to my call almost slid into me as well. I'm pretty devastated right now but no one got hurt and its just sheet metal. gonna start tearing into it in the am. have two parts xjs...just gonna be a few diff colors for a little while. frame seems utouched and the factory winch made it out alive minus one tow hook bracket.

rusty - a very popular mj name

xj did good in the storm here. mj stayed in the driveway with a THICK coat of fluid film on it....away from the salt.

they have their own sockets at the shipping station they can use to check lol....show them one time and then tell them to check everytime before boxing them up. we ship out 4-5 np231s everyday in all sorts of configurations. sometimes i travel to other junkyards to buy their tcases off the shelf. thats when i bring my 13/16 socket with me to check them. when you are dealing with buying 20-25 cases at a time its easier to check them quickly rather than counting each one before loading into the truck.
-
either. i usually grab my 6 point snappy or my 12 point craftsman chrome socket and physically put it into the input shaft. if it fits its 23 spline. I work at a jeep specific salvage yard and we have some real dummies that work in out shipping department that have no idea about parts and i showed them this trick so they would stop sending out the wrong tcases for orders.
-
thats what mine has but i have a 4 speed ax4. it revs really high on the highway could really use that 5th gear overdrive. youll be fine.
-
protip: a 13/16 chrome socket will fit into a 23 spline input shaft but not a 21. i always take one with me to save time in figuring out that bs.
-
yes the cab vent...might have found one locally but ill still take offers until i have one in my hands
-
need plastic trim panel for the side of the cab for the driver side. mine flew off on the highway...will pay cash or trade other parts i have just let me know what you are looking for. thanks.
