The bA-10 mount is an oddball on both the MJ and XJ.

Try the ICM first as that gizmo in the dizzy is for syncing fuel injector firing and has nothing to do with ignition.

It ain't anywhere near a bolt in.

Is that the only place I would have to file down? Just in the lower front corner? Each end. It will be obvious. As for the bungs, I've only seen without.....stock replacement or header.

In the vehicle, with the factory steering stops on the knuckles, the XJ box (@ 14:1 ratio) is 3-1/2 turns lock-to-lock. The ZJ box (@ 12.7:1 ratio) is 3 turns lock-to-lock. The question is what the lock-to-lock is for a bare box, out of the vehicle, for use when checking a rebuilt box on the parts house counter. Gotcha. Too late for that. I'm not pulling it out to measure that!! FWIW, the housing has a big Z on it.

My understanding is that if you strip it down to the inner "Cs", you can swap everything over from yours.

I installed a ZJ box in my 87 a few days ago. Used from one of my parts Heeps. A 93 with V8. I can compare turns lock to lock for you guys.

They fit the head with a little filing of the intake...maybe. There is no provision for EGR or Oxygen sensor. You can have an O2 sensor bung welded into the new headpipe you're gonna need.

173 HP in 87, 177 HP in 88, 182 HP in 89 and 90. All due to timing and advance curve changes. Which reminds me. I need an 88 to 90 TCU.

I just put one in off of a 93 Grand cherokee. But, XJ consoles fit fine.
