  1. The AW4 was used in the Toyota Celica Turbo and dump trucks in Japan.
  2. Yes. And part of the instructions in that TSB was a note to cut the old CPS connector off. Wasn't always done.
  3. TEST your CPS http://cruiser54.com/?p=50
  4. Did he replace the brake master cylinder or clutch master cylinder? Either way, with the vehicle off and stationary, AFTER checking and topping off the clutch master cylinder as needed, pump the clutch pedal about 30 times and leave it sit for 10 minutes.
  5. welcome. do a fuel pressure test. and, go to www.cruiser54.com and do Tips 1,3,4, and 5.
  6. Rollbar is just sitting in place. It will be lower once installed. Modified the area above the grille so there's no half moon opening for the original grille.
  7. I can't find it now but the one screwing into the bell housing is metric
  8. google MSC-6K I have 10 foot ceilings. I would consider that a minimum unless you are 4 feet tall.
  9. I got a grille yesterday from Larry at Alfa Parts Exchange out of Lodi, California. It's not for this model Alfa, but if it didn't work, it would become wall art. I love it. Will be easy to mount. I cut off the lower grille bracket from the original and cut off the factory bumper mounts. Those bumpers weigh close to 70 pounds each!! Sold them to guys who just HAD to have them. I'm going bumperless. Plans are for a perforated metal grille background with LED parklights behind the mesh.
  10. No kidding!!! I'm impressed.
  11. Me neither. Is that because we're crusty old farts?

  13. Typo on the 2.4. Perhaps a mod can fix that? I just thought of something. That engine is actually a 2.46L. So, which is closer? 2.4 or 2.5?
  14. Ever clean your throttle body and IAC? http://cruiser54.com/?p=60
  15. No. Not at all. It's all about putting a HO engine into a Renix Jeep.
  16. Would someone like to do a sticky on "So you want to swap a 4.0 in" Consider all this....................
  17. I think 6 to 8 is standard IIRC. And, if they're bad, it's usually no resistance. I used to take my DVOM to the junkyard with me.
  18. It's an SC Rambler. factory built. There were 2 or 3 paint schemes, all red, white and blue. High output 390 in a rambler American body, 4 speed and posi rearend. I remember seeing them new in the showrooms as a teenager.
  19. Here's how to transition from Renix to HO: http://cruiser54.com/?p=100
  20. I'm good with that. I used to have the ratings.............. Ok. Can someone dig up the IAT part number and post it up? I've never seen one go bad, but I have seen them come back into spec by cleaning them with brake cleaner.
