  3. if you can get a 2.5 with little rust it`s the best for a project, the later the model, the easier to swap things over, also there`s a plus that the rear axle will be 4.11 or at least 3.55...

  7. XJs are common here, so common that like i said, they get dumped as soon as something goes wrong, they don`t bother to fix them... MJs are nonexistant, only my unit and like 5 other i have seen, one of which is in very bad shape i also saw several of those 4 door "comancherokees"... and yes rust is not an issue here, mine had rusty floors but that was because some idiot PO got the carpet wet and didn`t do anythign to dry it...
  8. that... never ocurred me...
  9. How about crashed or rolled over MJs? as long as the frame, bed and back of cab is good... also MJs that have been stripped but happend to have those parts in good shape, in here people trash perfectly good XJs with blown gaskets or worn engines (which can be fixed) so bad to make it not worthy? that`s my question...
  10. have anybody tried to unweld the X-frame of a comanche? the idea is to find a MJ with a damaged cab and assuming the X-frame is good, unweld the cab and then, get a good XJ, cut it right behind the front doors and weld the MJ X-frame and the back of the cab... yeah, i`m desperate to get more MJs..
  11. Dakota/Durango ones are too short but it`s an option...
  12. dakotas and durangos... interesting...
  13. never mind, from far away looked like an inline filler, but it`s not... it looks like the lancer uses inline filler...
  14. i know, but the clerk keeps asking for what car, i drew it in a piece of paper and still has no clue about what it is... but i`m almost sure i saw one that looked OEM in a mitsubishi, googling it as we speak...
  15. Do these come factory (which make/model)? or only aftermarket? one of these will simplify my setup and the shop doesn`t know what these are...
  16. found this gem NOT MINE NOT MINE, NOT MINE Short Bed 2WD 2.5l 5 speed maybe if the owner recognizes it..
  17. any tighter and not even EVs will pass CA emissions... consider moving ANYwhere else
  18. not to mention a drop in MPGs, all that vapour, give it enough time in the summer and your wallet will suffer....
  19. definitly somethign is wrong with your fuel system, check it out first...
  20. did you test the MAP? if it`s brand new maybe was DOA
  21. yes, i though ditching the 33s was already established he wants to be able to go above 65 and get reasonable MPGs ... with fat-@$$ 33s i doubt it...
