  1. Is this why when I sign out I lose the most current postings? It's like I jumped back in time 30 minutes upon signing out.
  2. Good looking Website, but it sounds like "Buyer Beware"
  3. Not here to sell anything, but has anyone ever seen, heard of, used, this company before? Sensors, Components, Relays, Connectors, things based on your year, model, engine. Check it out. Might get asked if your a robot question. Simple too answer. WELLS VEHICLE ELECTRONICS - Fond du Lac, WI 54936
  4. Two (2) things will happen. Fuel trim will compensate (within its range of authority) for your lean condition to the point of going from closed loop to open loop.
  5. 1987 includes the Engine and Fuel Controls for the diesel. Plus other diesel stuff.
  6. Fasten Belt Indicator Control in the 88 wiring diagram show this wired to the chime module. Can't find or figure out how the Fasten Belt Indicator Control works without the chime module.
  7. Aren't you missing the upper bushing in that photo?
  8. Was it the Pink wire? 88 wiring diagram. Fuse feeds both hazard flasher and brake switch.
  9. Don't know about the re-assembly without the plenum, but won't you miss the defrost mode (dew on inside windshield)?
  10. Both. Does fuse blow when new fuse is installed (key off) or when new fuse is installed and you step on the brake pedal? You might need lots of fuses to solve this.
  11. Your starving on air or your starving on fuel.
  12. Hey gogmorgo, if you flip that rubber pad (worn out corner) on your brake pedal, you'll can get another 300k miles out of it.
  13. If you got the time, cruiser has the tip. Drill out the mounting holes and move CPS closer to trigger wheel. Cruiser Tip #7
  14. Chart is sorted by Ballast Resistor Current (Amps). Chart shows two (2) of the three (3) measurements taken by vehicle owners: Ballast Resistance (ohms) and Voltage Drop Across Ballast (volts). The other two are calculated. Ballast Resistor Current is Voltage Drop Across Ballast divided by Ballast Resistance. E/R=I Fuel Pump Running Resistance is (Battery Voltage minus Voltage Drop Across Ballast) divided by Ballast Resistor Current. E/I=R As stated earlier, I'm looking for a trend by using Fuel Pump Running Resistance to check fuel pump performance.
  15. 1987 early builds had no ballast resistor. Ballast appeared later in the same model year. Pump noise complaint's.
  16. Test
  17. By-pass your fuel pump ballast resistor (if equipped), only to eliminate this as a possible cause.
  18. Yeah, Veh 2, Item 2 looks a little low. lol. Thanks for your time and hope you find your keys.
  19. ECU is senseless if EGR solenoid is present or not. No DTC's here. EGR is usually activated during warm cruise, not idle.
  20. One small thing about EGR delete, when ECU determines EGR ON, INJ PW is shortened slightly due to the increased exhaust gas mixture entering the manifold.
  21. Check hose between radiator and overflow bottle for blockage.
  22. Disconnect and plug vacuum line to fuel pressure regulator. This will maintain maximum fuel pump pressure during crank.
