  1. That's a pilot bearing Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  2. I'm assuming it was simply removing more material? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  3. So are the pre 90 knuckles screwed as far as getting ball joints? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  4. Probably deformed the hole, somewhat. Jeepdriver had to use a reamer, in his build thread, to correct a similar issue. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  5. I may be in the minority, but, I will disagree with soldering on vibration heavy applications. A solid crimp, and heat shrink, is a more stout connection. There are applications for soldering. But, I find myself using it less and less. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  6. I'm not in front of the truck now. But, if you are, use a magnet. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  7. This thread says 2000 and 2001. In case you weren't tracking, there is, also, a picture reference showing where the head casting is located. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/0331-head-years-my-99-a-241057/ Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  8. That's a newly produced MTS fuel sender. There are a couple threads, on here, about them. They work. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  9. This is what I went with as well and havent had any issues yet. I think this is a good choice for those that don't have the available money for PSC.
  10. I believe that's a quick disconnect fitting. Search for internal slave quick disconnect. You should find some info. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  11. No. All XJ seats will require modding, as the MJ floor bracket is different. However, up to 94 (maybe 95) is much less work. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  12. An ax5 will not bolt to the 4.0. The 2.5 and 4.0 are a different bolt pattern. If I'm correct, the ax5 is a Chevy bolt pattern. Fix is ax15
  13. Yes Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  14. I don't know if the Ranger leaf springs are the same dimensions. You know, for sure, that the MJ suspension components with line up with the mounts. You'll, obviously, have to weld perches in the correct place. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  15. But is there an ac delete bracket in its place? Or, do you have a shorter belt and skip the ac pulley all together? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  16. For reference, the "outside" part as in the surface where the studs are and not the splines of the hub? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  17. Is Myers Machine the shop in Lexington or something closer to you? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  18. Complete shot in the dark, but, it may be the circuit board on the back of the instrument cluster. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  19. I installed this Bosch unit, two years ago, and have had zero issues. FWIW, it was $100 when I got it. $150 now. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bch-al653n/overview Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  20. So, to clear this up for future readers - took the FPR out of my parts jeep and it still didn't work. At that point, I retraced what I did and had the "doh!" moment. Either way, all is good now. As always, thanks for the assistance. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  21. I do. I caught it just now. Thanks for the help. Embarrassment abound.
  22. And that is what it was. I'm an idiot.
  23. Replaced some fuel lines today. Upon reconnecting everything, I have a no start condition, with no fuel at the rail. Everything stops at the fuel pressure regulator. If I remove the FPR, and prime the pump, fuel shoots everywhere. Replace the FPR (tested off of the rail and on the rail), I get nothing. Removing the hard line from the FPR results in, again, fuel spewing everywhere. Are there troubleshooting options or is a new one simply needed? If a new one is needed, what is recommended? There just seems to be junk everywhere on Ebay.
  24. You'll need the correct compressor bracket for renix. It's different between ho and renix. As far as hoses, they will work. You'll still need to source AC hvac controls, for inside the cab, as well as a heater box that is for AC. A non AC truck will only have the heater core and not the evaporator with it. 25. Not to sound harsh, but, your alternative, to not welding/not spending a bunch, is a different vehicle. One, or both, of what you don't want to do has to occur in order to change from leaf to coil springs.
