  1. And I got a ticket for my tailights being pink. Those are some gnarly rigs! The first Toy doen't look too illegal minus mudflaps and mirrors. And a door falling off.
  2. If it's the AW4, you won't be let down. Shifted the mom's Tacoma into reverse at 35. Turns out that R doesn't mean 3rd and the empty spot on the floorboard doesn't have a pedal.
  3. And the Explorer axle already needs spacers...
  4. I must admit, I didn't realize the TRE was That big. I'd be scared to try it myself, and would be worried to be behind or in front of it on the road till I saw it become proven, but we'll see what happens.
  5. I'd love to see that one! If you're doing alot of snow runs I don't understand what everyone's concern is; of course, I'm not sure what other type of wheeling you do, but I'm guessing you're a log humper, which an exo still seems like it wouldn't be a problem. Hope you can keep it on the good side of the law! Oh! That battery tray looks pretty cool. What would you do on the other side?
  6. They had the new body style on CMT for one reason or another and all I caught was two teams racing each other through mud in em. I thought they'd be more disgusting, but they turned out quite nice!
  7. Out of curiousity, do you drive this truck or just wheel it? I can't imagine seeing this thing pass me on the highway!
  8. I think the tubular bumper you put in your projects section looks real slick for a standard production bumper, but I see what you mean about it hanging down so low on the sides. Is there anyway to modify the bumper you had for a winch? It really matched your truck great and no one else I've seen has anything quite like it!
  9. Another firefox/IE type deal. Since you're a newb, I'll ask the question. Did you check the box?
  10. Mine didn't have a king pin...
  11. Took 2 hours to get my new CPS in. Turned out that it doesn't plug in backwards  The timing is Horrible, making my power house 2.5L dog around, and Chilton and Haynes said you can't adjust the timing on this motor, so I'm going to rotate the distributor and change the timing anyways. A quick eyeing of the axle without taking the tires off off the ground looks like bent outer 'C's and a bent axle tubes, but I'll be checking a little more closely tomorrow and I'll be looking at ball joints and unit bearings.
  12. I always fry my tires in truck #2's stick in the rocks, whereas I feel I have more control with truck #1's auto. I'm also heavy on the gas in rocks, so I think it would depend on your driving style and abilty/lack-of-ability with a stick.
  13. The first one's cleaner than I ever do!
  14. "the throttle response is incredible and loud" "I am also including a complete set of quiet exhaust that goes with it" "The running gear is all Dana equipt." "If you look at the picture of the front axle you can see the steering hydrolic cylinder that has a shiny bar which moves in and out" Maybe it's just cause I'm not into this sort of thing, but
  15. Basically any SBC part will fit any other SBC (i.e. 305 intake manifold on a 400), and the same for a big block.
  16. Small Block Chevy. As opposed to a Big block chevy.
  17. "I dun spilled my drink" So the LCAs just ripped off the axle looks like?
  18. I don't know How I missed this thread, but this truck looks Great! Love the rims and stance. How are you liking those springs?
  19. I'd like to drop a 44 under there, but just can't deal with the project of that right now, or the $400 price of the bracket kit.
  20. PO beat the poop out of it, hence the total rebuild I've been doing. However, I do plan on hitting the jumps pretty hard, so I dunno what I'll do about the axle.
  21. This is really the only pic I have of the camber right now:
  22. That Vette's racing without headlights! Did the clock say 12.24??
  23. John, I'd like to learn how to chop a lil better, mostly to help with lighting, but I'm workin on it!
