  1. So thats why when I tried putting mine in the connectors they didnt want to fit in there. So I opened up the connectors and jammed a bulb in each one. It works but there is nothing holding them to the dash. So there is a bracket that those lights go in? Mine are the same, just zipped tied up bulbs. There's actually a casing?
  2. Dunno about all the different options out there, but my headlight switch dims, I have lights on the b-pillars, and I have lights in the kick panels. There is no wiring for a cab light on the roof. Do you have b-pillar lights?
  3. To me, there is a difference between trespassing and vandalizing. Rock at Fred Meyers shopping Center. Big deal? (man, that pic came out bad)
  4. The lost Coast in Humboldt is probably a good start. There are some good places to wheel, there is a club there here is their link. http://www.lostcoast4x4.org/ Wheeling looks good
  5. Doesn't mean it's not funny
  6. I'm not sure exactly where everyone's located. Me, I probably can't get below San Fran, but I'm not the only one looking to hit the trails.
  7. If it's really that tall, maybe go SUA and use a slightly longer shackle to compensate for the lost lift?
  8. Why not buy a Harbor Freight sprayer? My family has 3 and I've done a couple paint jobs with em. Just make sure you use enough paint thinner to prevent the bedliner look.
  9. The paint shop or...?
  10. Yeah I shopped around last night and Summit was the cheapest I could find at $36.95 a wheel, and I think shipping is free. I'll prob end up getting em in a month or so, so the credit card can get a break.
  11. There is a small leak that I believe is either a crack in the manifold or between the manifold and down pipe, but this particular ticking comes at about 3000 RPMs and is definitely timing
  12. Top notch, mate! This weekend I'm heading out of town, maybe I'll test out the world
  13. Truck is registered and I put a good 80 miles on it today! The bad: Park is sometimes Reverse or Neutral. Bad wobble if I hit a big bump at 60ish and have to slow down to 50 and build speed back up. Top speed is 73 mph. Less quick than my 20R Yota (stick shift Yota though) Bad tick that sounds like timing which can't be adjusted, so premium, here I come. Takes ~40 minutes to warm up, and even then is below operating temp. XTerrains are Loud!!! (alignment is bad though) 3-speed tranny So, I gotta work on my shift linkage, check my trac bar bushings, regear, run premium, put cardboard over my radiator, and possibly change trannies, but it's not likely. However, all the tire shops in town while looking for wheels seemed to like the truck, the lady adores it, it's smooth and fairly quiet, and it's so nice to not have to manually shift on the highway. Comanches get an A+!
  14. But you can lose flex!
  15. Mate, your post took me three times longer to read than if you had written it in standard English. This is an Internet forum, not a cell phone with a character limit on text messages. Please do yourself a favour and quit using text message shorthand where it isn't needed or wanted. It makes life SOOOOO much easier. Thank you.
  16. Is there no power to the light, or the light just won't turn on? Upon looking into mine, it seems that the contacts that hit at the different settings you can flip the light to, become corroded and just need to be cleaned. Corrosion was bad on both my lights.
  17. Yeah, I guess they're called Rock Krawlers as well :dunno: . Cheapest in town I found was $49 a piece plus balancing, caps, and lug nuts on top of that made it $289 for a set of black steelies.
  18. Layin on a bench is way better than layin in the truck bed
  19. Guess I should've just said Soft 8s, but Scott, that's exactly what I was looking for, thank you. I'm an '86 on ~5" of lift and 31s, so you win! I like subtle rims, not ugly or flashy, and I need to get rid of the ones I have, so maybe I'll go this route. And a fast crude chop for my own thinking:
  20. Does anyone have a pic with em on a Manche? I've seen em on Cherokees but it's just not the same!
  21. Is that a Dakota bumper?
  22. That's alot for a Manche, hope it's Nice.
  23. Does it work?
  24. By chance, did you happen to have the high flow cat installed at a different time than the muff? I'd like to get one, but am worried about the truck being too loud, hence the reason I want to keep a cat to begin with.
