  1. Yet a large section of both the Toys and Jeeps on the 'Con are powered by Chevy or Ford.
  2. Has anyone here had a vehicle shipped? If so, what sort of roads, how far, and how much was it? I'm thinking about having a vehicle shipped, and just need ballpark numbers. None of the sites will estimate unless I fill in for a quote, which I don't know the details yet to do that.
  3. I like to make fun of them. I don't hate them. Although, I can think of a guy with a toyota that I do hate... He works for an auto parts store. I own a Toyota and work for an Auto Parts store! Yay me! Edit: multiple Toyotas...
  4. 1/2 of the people on here hate Toyota! What the hoof?!
  5. Maybe a stickied thread'd be good in the classifieds?
  6. Bump, cause this was mentioned in The Pub. I think The Pub's fine for it, and I like having Very few forums, but, yeah. Just bumping. Did you ever get any help with things, Pete?
  7. IMHO, $2500 would be much better put into a different *cough*V-8*cough* motor... It seems like people eventually just get hung up with brand loyality instead of simplicity or effectiveness.
  8. Put the 35s on your truck, and roll the 31s underneath it to support it. Put the control arms on, and throw the 31s away.
  9. There's a NOS LWB MJ roll bar currently on fleaBay under item No. 330143357935. No personal interest, but thought someone might. Lol!
  10. I like that front bumper on the XJ; who makes it?
  11. Paint looks good. Do you have a bed for it?
  12. I think the 88+ GM 3/4 tons could be 6 or 8 lug, with the 8 lugs being the HD models. Is it lifted at all? The IFS on those trucks is a major weak link and large tires can kill every part in it if it gets wheeled. Besides the IFS, those trucks are pretty solid. My MJ was getting 22 city, 21 highway. Lower highway mpgs because of the 3 speed keeping the motor at 4k+. I ran premium because I spoil my motor.
  13. You will hear a different view on the 6.2 from every person you ask. It takes alot of maintenance, but will last forever. If the PO didn't maintain it, expect it to go soon. If you don't maintain it, expect it to go soon. If both you, and the PO, keep/kept it well maintained, you'll be happy with it. I drive a 4-cyl MJ on 31s, regeared, with an auto and I wouldn't recommend it. My mileage has never been that great to warrant the lack of power. A 4-cyl stick might be okay for you if you keep the tires small (2wd). That GMC isn't a bad price. 4x4?
  14. Nvm, Comancheon33 looks to have TnT:
  15. We haven't really discussed Clayton's too much. Probably only 15 guys on here are running longarms, and the only one I know of on Clayton's is $500 MJ. What arms is ComancheOn33s/35s running?
  16. And I as well, on a red bench.
  17. My 2.5 engine bay must be alot easier to work in... I've never had these issues. I just throw a something" ratcheting wrench on the shock's nut and 1/4" wrench on the top of the stud and have some fun.
  18. everytime i find a parts xj the front clip is gone... and the JY i go to must suck because they never have any new xjs.. and only 1 mj That's how our U-Pull-It is. Since we have fiberglass header panels, they break easily, so I think that's where all of those are going. Also, my U-Pull-It doesn't have anything newer than 10 years old. The regular JY handles the newer stuff.
  19. only 2 work at once... They have rewiring kits so you can have 4 low beams and 4 hi beams. I did that on my GMC: I miss that truck a ton

    Ebay

Do you need or want a tow strap or some offroad lights? You'd be set then.
  21. That is F'in BA. Nice find!
  22. Thank you all for the input. The RS stuff is quite spendy, but I'll look into it a little more, and if it looks promising, I'll see if my manager can hook me up with that or something of the like. summerinmaine, you like IISP? It's very well priced, even off Amazon, for $99.99. jeepdoggydogB, thank you for the link. I'll browse through this, and maybe it'll be enough!
  23. When I ordered my magnets, I gave Pete everything in my wallet, which wasn't much, but it's all I had. I tried. I think the main thing that gets me is, like I said, the fact that a donation is becoming manditory.
