  1. You say you have an HID conversion? I love my H4s, but can you explain your HIDs at all? Have you compared them to anything else?
  2. http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDeta ... 91&PTSet=A Either way, 200+ is probably time to change it.
  3. 02 sensors are suggested to be replaced every 100,000 miles. The 2.5s have alot of sensors, but are not a complex design compared to newer MPI motors.
  4. The reason I ever use a bottle jack is so that it'll slip and get me unstuck. I'd never use one to support my vehicle.
  5. I've used mine twice on my Toyota. Once while high centered on the case weld of my Magnaflow, so I went under the frame and another rock. The second time with my front leaf spring stuck on a large rock (have no idea how I got it up there) and I jacked up the bumper. They work well in tight spots.
  6. If you're planning on keeping it street legal, you'll need something coming down behind the tire. The taper reminds me a bit of Project Quasimodo in the Pirate4x4 Toyota section. Might be able to nab some inspiration off of this too. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showpost ... stcount=56 http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showpost ... stcount=57 http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showpost ... tcount=293 http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showpost ... tcount=295 http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showpost ... count=1305
  7. Thank you Tons!!! It really isn't that noticable, and I'll probably be pulling my flares off anyways. I'm looking to swap the 31s out for 33s or 35s, and take my lift down to 4", so... Once again, thanks!
  8. Did they only tire shine the driverside tires?
  9. Aren't fuses supposed to prevent fires?
  10. Trick. Nice job
  11. Wellll over 1100. 3000 sounds about right. 2.5l, auto, 4x4, 31s on steelies, 3800 lbs. -auto = ~50 lbs -4x4 = ~ 200 lbs -5" of tire ~ 200 lbs?
  12. No, I'm swapping the header panel, blinkers, and grill. I know the fenders aren't much different and that they do work with the new front, but I don't know how well.
  13. Our e-mails don't ever mention Advance.
  14. So much Skinny hatin'! Had a chance to take a pic of the paint in the light yet?
  15. Does anybody have any pictures of this?
  16. Shreek!!! Advanced is not related!!! We are Checkers/Schuck's/Kragens and Murray's!!! People drive me crazy when they ask us to check Autozone's inventory when we're in the system cause they think we're linked. And, yeah, you can get that glue or a double sided tape that will work from any chain parts house.
  17. At 5", I needed new lowers, a track bar, and could use uppers. My stock lowers contacted the shock mount at ride height with 5" of lift, making it so I had no down travel.
  18. I can't wait for something like that to happen to me.
  19. This is my interior: so having a bit of orange in the color would be alright, but the truck will have to be predominately red. I like the look of class but a little sportiness. I'm not looking for anyhting popping, but I am looking for something something. Does anyone know how they get the pearl into paint? Even the stock color has some pearlness too it.
  20. So, I mailed out the check today to offroader461 for my 97+ front end, and with the front end will come a Paint Jobb!!! I know I'll keep the truck red, especially with my bright red interior, but I'm trying to decide on what red to go with. This is the best photo I can find of the current color, but it's one of the two, oh, so common reds (outdated pic of the truck as well...): I was thinking about going with that color again, or maybe chilipepper red: Or maybe something darker? I dunno. Was hoping for some suggestions.
  21. I feel anything over 2" should come with new lower control arms.
  22. That tag on the left side of the cover should definitely say the ratio under the grease spot.
  23. According to Superlift's website: They list that to explain why their coils could be +/- 3/8". Jared, how stiff do those coils feel? I've been curious, since I haven't ridden in a JK yet.
