  1. They're the same doors as on the XJs and yes, the wing window were available on both, and since the doors are the same, you can just use XJ ones on your truck. However, they're notorious for leaking.
  2. Lol, the forum doesn't sensor "suck balls". How much did you get quoted on the REs? My local shop told me $92 a piece...?
  3. Those may be a bit heavy for your rear end as you don't have a motor on that axle, but maybe you're looking for stiff?
  4. Just the ash tray and the little screw covers on the grab handles. I've only been able to find maroon ones for parts. I think I have everything else.
  5. It does have a 4-cyl. Cheap gauges tend to not have the same accuracy as the nicer gauges, but it shouldn't be a huge deal for a Comanche. The digital ones on that should be fine, but I'd stay away from digital tachs as they tend to lag.
  6. If you decide to change the interior color, PM me. I need some small red parts.
  7. Numbers are only good on paper. Are you going triangulated 4-link or running a panhard?
  8. Front JK coils should be long enough, but maybe too stiff. And I think the rears on em are about the same length as our fronts, but no idea on rates. Grand Vitara and Sidekick rear coils should be about 13" without weight if memory serves me right of a buddies. Those are soft. Everything else I can think of is too short.

If you're talking about 1/4 mile times. I had it all f'ing hooked up and didn't think about if it was seized cause I was told it was good. Twisted on the eccentric shaft pulley randomly one day and cursed. Bought an '88 RX-7 for the motor (fuel-injected too), but don't have the heart to ruin such a beautiful car by stripping it of its motor. Now I'm putting a stupid 350 in it. Is that a 4.0 in the Jeep?
  10. I was looking for that post! It was in the MJ Projects section, but no matter how much I searched, I couldn't find it. Belongs to the same family as the white MJ on 35s. It's a father and son.
  11. Did you get the tach figured out? The Equis gauges aren't bad, they just aren't as nice as, say, Autometer. Your reading def should not be off by what I suspect to be 2000 rpms.

Huh. I chopped off the front end of my '78 Yota and was dropping an '81 RX-7 rotary in till I noticed the motor was seized. Hope it doesn't turn out as ugly as that.
  13. ZJs don't have gas tank clearance issues though, since the tank is behind the axle.
  14. Didn't end up selling it, eh?
  15. Old thread, but Bend, OR, here.
  16. Don't spend more than $100. D60 and 14 bolt rears are too common to throw crazy cash at.
  17. 8.8 center section is cast? What are your plans for the truck? With the way I use my truck, and being as lazy as I am, it'll probably end up with a radius arm rear suspension.
  18. Can you check if those blinker lamps are marked "D.O.T." on them? They didn't used to be DOT approved and I talked to a guy in S. Cali that had a cop write him up for a huge list of things on his Yota. One of those was the lights, but only cause the cop was looking over every inch of the truck. Maybe cause Aus doesn't have the DOT?
  19. Is anyone else burning to know about the rear suspension? It def does look like a monoleaf in the bigger version of that pic.
  20. I dig the new bumper! I was appauled when I saw the Rock Lizard in the classifieds, but that looks good on there!
  21. Lol! Do you have a higher resolution first picture? I'd like it as a background.
  22.

    My house!

At least your neighbors now know what they're in for! Any progress on it?
  24. Pretty sure they're all the same. If not, they all interchange.
