Ok I think I'm going to swap my 2.5L 4 cyl for a 4.0L 6 cyl on my '86 Comanche how hard is it to do that? what will I need to do it? other than the 4.0L? can I use my existing transmission? any links or info on this would be great

The MJ and the XJ back halves are different. couldnt it be converted/modded to fit? I think I like the leaf springs tho what kinda leafs shuld I get? ohh and i have a lead on a set of Dana 44 front and rear with 4.11 gear set work? and shuld I get them and swap them in ? there only$250 for both and a bunch of spare parts for them also? shuld I ?

Well I'm interested in getting rock rails and a front and rear bumper if there reasonably priced. so if some one has the tools and time for the bumpers id be willing to buy the first set to get the ball rolling on them

Pics Coming Soon So last year I picked up my MJ for 700 it runs but has some issues its a 2.5 4cyl TBI so far its got a fresh coat of rattle can OD green. here is my list of things I plan on doing: SYE HD 4" to 6" Lift (not sure yet on SOA or SUA yet opinions would be helpfull) New rear leafs (question is there such a thing as a leaf to coil conversion?) Rims and Tires ( have 31" land terrains on it now that are brand new, only thing i could get to make it the 400 miles from where i picked it up back to my house) Bed roll bar with over cab bars and a roof basket and 4 lights mounted In bed tire carrier mounted on Bed roll bars near the rear of the bed Any other ideas you guys have on what else's i can do to make it more trail and daily driver ready? :D
