  1. Depending on the year, some came with 4wd. I'm uncertain of wheel and transmission choices though. Dana 44 was a metric tonne thing.
  2. Also, what year is it? If it's an '86 auto, look into a tranny swap, cause the 3-spd'll kill you.
  3. Are you looking for top end power or low end torque? If you want some top end, start by freeing up your exhaust! My 2.5 got alot more pep out of a Magnaflow under there. It's still slow as a dog, but it helped.
  4. That's my favorite model.
  5. Maybe I just look down upon the 2wd since where I live, winters are harsh, and to get where they aren't, you have to cross the mountains. I don't wanna be towing in the mountains with only 2wd.
  6. Even the ones with the bend hit, just takes em longer to get that far.
  7. K, what I think it might be is: Motor was running lean. Vacuum leak on the motor faulted the timing. Cracked plug couldn't cool. Cracked plug burnt up. Other cylinders stayed lean. Cylinder 2 couldn't fire many, if any, times. Extra fuel in cylinder makes plug show rich. That's kind of what I gathered from what everyone says and put together as pretty logical. I can't try another plug right now because the motor's out of the truck to be rebuilt, again, but I'll make sure that the new set of plugs don't get dropped. The old ones might've; it happens. Thank you, guys!
  8. Deeeamn, hornbrod! That brings the sex!
  9. Just got mine in. Thanks much Pete! I've got an envelope with a few bucks in it, just haven't gotten a stamp.
  10. My friend says that they're all fat pigs. The more I think about it, the more I agree.
  11. Are you talking about a Steering Wheel Installation Kit? The thing that makes it mount to your column? I know they stock em at Checker/Schuck's/Kragen
  12. More importantly you might need to raise the track bar mount... Or a TB drop bracket?
  13. But it's TBI and the other 3 plugs were lean, so I don't understand!
  14. That's amazing. I just showed these to my brother and he also commented on the fact that they'd flex well, but he feels that they may shatter if dropped on a rock, while steel springs would bend, as brought up by the article.
  15. Yeah, and the pictures make the plug look Good.
  16. What would cause this? In case you can't see it well in the pics, it looks like a well used wire feed welding tip. I know the huge crack doesn't show at all on it. Lastly, the ground, instead of curving over, just kind of leans inward. The plug is my #2 cylinder plug and has bout 3000 miles on it. #1, 3 and 4 all show a lean condition. This is my brand new motor that started rod knocking in the third cylinder so I pulled it to have it re-rebuilt.
  17. Hmm, I just would've bought another one.
  18. I like it! I'm sick of the dang colored screens. They look cheap to me. And the black and white ones are always the dirt cheap 90 dollar ones. Nothing that really looks clean at all.
  19. Shouldn't the body work happen after you wheel it?
  20. Can I get a pic of this? All of the Dodge taillights I've seen are not the same, but have some similar styling.
  21. The idea is neat, but dang, that's ugly! Too long! A short bobbed bed'd be nice.
  22. :needpics:
  23. Same here; it's grown so much, it's hard to get through everything. for goodness!
  24. I always forget how small MJs are compared to full size rigs. The lil'uns put it into perspective cause the thing looks Huge by itself. Def looks good! Get it done!
